Visited this hotel for 2 nights just after getting married as a “mini-moon” and it was exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. Staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful, our room wasn’t quite ready when we arrived (we arrived early) so we were given complimentary drinks while we waited which was above expectations. We stayed in a premier suite which was lovely, everything was super clean and tidy, the bath was amazing! The bed was also really comfy. We used the spa facilities and again the staff in the spa made us feel relaxed and the massages we had were brilliant. The pool was lovely too. The food was delicious at the hotel and breakfast plentiful with lots of options to choose from. The hotel itself is walking distance to Cardiff city centre and Cardiff castle. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Well located, spacious rooms, nice spa and gym and great to have parking so close to city center. I dont understand why online check in is offered to speed things up and it still takes a long time to check in, I was also told my staus had lowered and so was not entitled to welcome drink any longer but looking at my account it still states silver and that includes a welcome drink. Room very warm, does not appear to have Aircon only heating.

Dirty pool

Pool, spa and changing rooms were dirty. Had to get out of the pool as water was dirty. Floors were muddy, not nice to walk on bare foot. Changing room floor was the same plus old towels all over the floor. Was not offered a locker pad lock. Had to put clothes back on to go out and get one. Shower in room 1002 leaks, slipped getting out.
