ibis Bristol Temple Meads Quay 3 estrelas

Rooms were very average, toilet and shower were inside a white box like cubicle which did make me and my partner feel like we were stepping into the inside of a sweat bin. Bar staff were lovely and doing their best but clearly were undertrained, welcome staff were not interested by much and were hardly welcoming. Upon eating breakfast in the morning we were asked on two separate occasions by two different staff members for our room number as if we hadn’t just come down from our room moments ago. We were then rushed out of breakfast by a staff member who continually cleaned our plates and bowls off the table almost as soon as we finished eating. The food itself was nice yet as per usual in hotels half of the freshly baked goods were gone by our time of arrival and no one seemed intent on refilling certain food items. One of the members of our group who arrived with us at breakfast was told he hadn’t got a booking for food, the booking website allowed a selection of 4 people but only charged for 3. It is also interesting that a SINGULAR self serve breakfast costs you 24£ which is cleverly not mentioned in the online website. Overall, not a great experience, some staff were trying and some were very clearly not.

Every morning she would approach us with a smile and she made our time and mornings. Customer service was impeccable and she’s such a lovely lady. I wish her all the best in the future she deserves it

I stayed with my son before an inteview and the staff were brilliant. Really friendly and helpful with questions. The rooms were very well designed. The location brilliant and the breakfast varied. Varieties of milk ovailable which was appreciated. Many thanks

Decent stay at this Ibis Hotel. The staff at reception and the bar were very friendly and cheerful. Room was usual Ibis standard - clean and comfortable. Of note I was staying during the extreme cold spell which hit the UK during December 2022 and whilst some friends in different hotels in the area were cold overnight my Ibis room was lovely and warm.

I booked the wrong Ibis for a business meeting the following morning, but the Temple Quay where I wanted to be were able to accommodate me at 6:30pm when I walked in. Nice room and interesting pod type bathroom. Great buffet breakfast Good price No hotel parking - park on street from [5pm] until 9am, then move to an off street parking 150m away; Absolutely no noise from building site next door. I had a great nights sleep in a comfy bed.
