I can't fault this hotel, location is spot on , hotel beautiful and clean all staff very helpful, my only problem was rooms very warm abut requested a fan which solved the problem, shopping at your doorstep, walking distance off all attractions

Excellent location. Friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfast buffet was varied with everything fresh and hot. Great coffee/tea facilities. This hotel is central for most areas in Pest and right in the middle of the shopping area. Comfortable bar area and reasonably priced although plenty if bars/restaurants also on the doorstep. Couldn't hear any noise in our room from outside. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Stay for the location, not for the amenities :/

For someone that enjoys the proximity to the city centre & central locations, this property certainly checks the box.. and next to staff courtesy, everything good stops short (and this coming from an Accor ALL member!) Despite being put up in a so-called 'superior' category room (view from room in pic attached), the amenities were anything but.. toiletries/basics were skim (no moisturizer even), room slippers only provided in 'higher' room categories, no iron/board in room for safety reasons (although I've seen this provision in other properties as well, so not too surprised) and housekeeping was non-existent at times, when on 1-2 days, room was not even cleaned or replenished, with 0 effort to even try otherwise. For a similar (or lower) price, you're probably better off choosing Ramada next door, which offers a similar room, but with all of the amenities missing at Mercure, including much better breakfast offering :)
