Checked-in 26/2/21 - still under Cover-19 partially restricted period. Good comfortable bedroom. Very strong shower (5 stars here). Breakfast room on 11th floor was a bit small - not sure if this is the normal room or special arranged under the Covid-19 period. The claimed 'Allsafe' hygiene protocol is not noticeable, very basic with cleansing gel bottle provided quietly on residence floor. At the Fitness room, there's no wiping tissue to clean the equipment, no alcohol on the exercise floor although towels are properly sealed.

Spacious Penthouse Room

I was stayed there 1 night during long weekend. Hotel reservation staff was nice and very helpful. I got a penthouse upgrade as I requested. Butler services is very quick and polite. However the thing that is not impressive is on breakfast and club lounge. Since it was on long holidays, the area was too crowded and limited choice of F&b if compared to other stays in BKK during past couple month.

Good Location, Clean and Well Sleep

Hotel located in a very good location, just a few steps from Ratchathewi Station. Also, when you stay in this hotel, you can walk to Siam Paragon, MBK, National Stadium, etc. Hotel is clean, good to stay/ Breakfast quality is good, not super variety but enough to select Piano Bar for the afternoon happy hour contain a lot of dessert. It good for the people who love sweet dessert. But I prefer to each finger food on this bar rather than those sweet dessert. Staff is well train.

The hotel is not new but they start renovating the restaurant, SPA, and bars. Lookiing forward the rooms to be fresher than they are now. Breakfast is great, swimming pool is ok, very nice gym club. MGallery is a good brand so expect to be confortable.

Refreshed lobby and resturant

A good business hotel as you don't get tour groups. Thus it is relatively quiet and conducive in lobby and at the la vie restaurant. The hotel staff are friendly as usual and always up to standard. The refreshed lobby and restaurant makes it more pleasant. Still one of my fav hotels Bangkok.

Staffs are friendly and helpful. Even it is not a big restaurant, breakfast still has lots of variety. We love the Japanese YTSB. Excellent food and services. We had dinner at YTSB twice during our four nights stay. For the first dinner, we ordered akagai sashimi, unfortunately they didn't have. For the second dinner, they remembered that and told us they have fresh one. We were so delighted and it was a very fresh one. Location is excellent. Only 5 mins walk or even less to Siam Discovery, and you will be linked up with all shopping malls, like siam centre, siam paragon.

A warm welcome by Mr. Tong even not having been there for over a year. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. The room was very well kept. The pool, a little on the noisy side with the tragic, if not good for an afternoon rest. The check-out very efficient. Thank you for great stay and will see you again soon.

The worst hotel in my life

At the end of 2019, he planned a nine-member large family trip and booked this hotel. For a comfortable trip, I have booked three executive suite rooms. Upon arriving at the hotel, the hotel staff said they would give one duplex room and one executive suite room because there were no rooms available. Six people stay in a small duplex room!!! We told the staff that the duplex room was too small to stay, but she told us to go to the deluxe room because we only had deluxe rooms. Finally my mother had to sleep on the sofa. What's more upsetting is that the staff didn't apologize at all. She only said she upgraded our room to a duplex room.This hotel has become the worst hotel of my life and I will never stay here again.

Excellent hotel at excellent location

The VIE is a very nice hotel. Rooms are large, convenient and clean. Location is perfect - 2 minutes walk from a sky-train station and 5 minutes from the popular MBK shopping center. Staff is very nice and helpful. Swimming pool is a pleasure, we went there every afternoon for a short refreshment between the day's touring and the evening's dining. Warmly recommended!

Just a few steps away from the BTS Station, this hotel was very convenient in terms of getting around in town. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff, and spacious rooms. We could not find the binder, or the file which typically contains all written information about the hotel’s facilities and services, and we called guest service since we thought it was simply missing for some reason. However, they told us there is no such file, and we were told to refer to the TV screen which referred to the hotel’s facilities. We still think it would be better to have a binder(or a directory) at hand.

I just always love this hotel and the staff. Now as a Platinum member they increased their perks for me and i will coem more often. recently they have refurbished parts of the hotel that were gettign a bit tired. It looks great and the bar downstairs is a dream. A special mention for the smart Mr Benz who is always happy to see me.

Near by BTS station

Location is just 2~3 min walk from BTS station Ratchathewi. Unfortunately no elevator or escalator at the VIE side of station. Some parts of VIE renovation was finished when my last time stay. The entrance is getting fashionable ! Room, amenities, complementary items and even service are very nice. When I checked out, a staff noted that one of my luggage was shortage than when I check-in and asked me about that. But this was given to business parter company. Amazing ! They can remember that my luggage was shortage ! How nice !! I would like to use the VIE again in future. Thank you VIE and see you next time soon.

I was glad that I had chosen this hotel for my short vacation. Had stayed in this hotel before (about 6 to 7 years ago) but it was without kids then. Had chosen this hotel mainly because the Family suite room includes breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children. Check-in: Was given an upgrade to executive suite as the intended room was not ready upon arrival. Room size is the same, but this included the Piano club privilege which my whole family can enjoy when we wanted to laze around in the afternoon from 4.30 to 6.30pm. Breakfast: Selection was not much comparing, but the quality of the food is great and tip-top. Food served on the counter were always fresh and nicely presented (Salad counter). We had breakfast for 5 days and not bored of the food at all. Location: One stop away from the BTS Siam, ultra convenient. Tuk tuk service is provided at regular interval. Must make booking in advance to avoid disappointment. Nice experience to be ferry to locations like Central World, MBK, even Platinum Mall. Staff: A big thumbs up for all the staff in VIE hotel. Every staff in the hotel are always so helpful, sincere, cheerful, and wears a smile. Special mention to: Som-o took care of us from check in till our check out day. She always made an effort check on my kids if they are alright, personally updates me on the status of my white t-shirt as there was issue when we sent for laundry. Scarlet, also checks on us when we were having our breakfast. Ray, always ensures our breakfast table is free from dirty plates, he even offer to help carry food stuff as he saw my wife carrying my little boy. I believe it's the personal touch that makes one feels at home, when away from home. We will, without doubt, choose this property again when we visit Bangkok again.

My go-to every time i'm in bangkok. Additionally, as ACCOR member, you can be sure you will be well taken care of. Large suite rooms, space and quality furnishings. Toiletries are amazing. My only gripe is that as a family travelling with kids, there are no kids facilities and the pool is too cold and small. Apart from that, breakfast is of high quality and comfortable. Staff are top notch, they remembered what we ordered every morning and go above and beyond what they are expected to do. Will definitely return!

I have been visiting the hotel a few times and I was impress until the last visit because the hotel gave me and my family the room that could smell the strong chemical, they shouldn’t give any guest the room that is not ready. So it caused my baby daughter to bleed her nose at the end of the day, I would love to see more sincere apology and worries about the guests more than asking if I need the ice or anything to help like usual words they always say (the hotel moved us to the new room after they know the room smell really bad) the reason I say this because they could have done so much better to make the guest feel better and they are really worries about us like follow up the condition.

VIE Hotel Bangkok is conveniently located next to the Ratchathewi BTS station and one stop to Siam station. The hotel offers a touch of elegance, comfort together with friendly service. We enjoy the room which was large and cosy with separate living area and bedroom, twin TVs, Nespresso coffee machine and the necessary amenities . It was a good stay and may consider staying there again if there is a good customer loyalty discount and an upgrading to the rooms which are a bit dated. Cheers, Anthony

No room upgrade despite the room was available

I am an Accor Gold Member and am entitled to have a room upgrade which I fully understand that such is subject to availability. I booked an Executive Suite from 7-10 Nov and also checked (on my taxi ride to the hotel) from Accor’s website that the next-tier room – Duplex Suite was available during my entire stay period. So, upon arrival I asked the front desk for a room upgrade to duplex suite, but the staff just replied that the duplex suites were all fully booked (?!). Then, I told her that I just checked duplex was still available for booking in Accor’s website and she just said that that the Executive Suite assigned to me was a special one (bigger in size) and I would love it. As it was already almost 2am at that time and I did not want to waste time to argue with her, so I just accepted the Executive Suite. However, the bathtub in my Executive Suite did not work properly and the hotel staff did take a look but they still could not fix it right away. The next morning while I was having my breakfast, another staff approached me that due to the bathtub problem, they were happy to change my room to a duplex suite (Excuse me, suddenly it was available again) for the rest of my stay. Well, as a loyal Accor member, I really hated the fact that VIE did not honor the member’s privilege from the very beginning. It was definitely not a good way to do business and not a good way to treat their loyal members.

We have investigated with our front office team who took care of your check in process, and we apologies that we did not completely explain the hotels layout, we have very limited rooms in higher category’s for two people occupancy in the hotel. The duplex suites are based on a two room arrangement or occupancy of four in total. The suite we upgraded you to is our only Resident Suite that we do not sell online, and it is used for our VIPs and elite members for upgrades, and it is favored by our regular gold and platinum members and long staying executive suite guests. The executive suite is 81 square meters with celling height of 3.1 meters, while the Resident Suite is 95 square meters with 5.7 meters, equipped with an individual kitchen, larger lounge and other facilities located on our VIP floor. We are deeply sorry about the technical problem that happened to the Jacuzzi in the Resident suite. We apologized and discussed with you regarding the current options, your preference was move the rooms. Recognizing the issue with the Jacuzzi, we were delighted to offer you one of the two-bedroom duplex suite which became available on the day you wished to move. We fully understand your privilege as our loyal gold member, and were trying our best to fix the problem that occurred during your stay. Great Stay

Lovely hotel, complimentary upgrade was a bonus! Boom (Chief Concierge) was very helpful with all my questions and helped me to find a good tailor near the hotel. MRT is 5 min walk away. MBK is a 10 min walk but there is a tuk-tuk shuttle from the hotel and also to Platinum Mall. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely large room, very comfortable bed, lovely large windows for natural light. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a great variety of choice. I enjoyed using the gym. In the instance that I travel again to Bangkok, I will make use of this sterling hotel. It is also close to the skytrain, transport to the airport was simple, and it's in walking distance from Siam Shopping. The team are incredibly helpful and kind.
