The hotel is located on the outskirts of Salerno, nevertheless it is a great base for sightseeing the region. Big supermarket is 5 min walk away. Free comfortable parking for your car. Absolutely great breakfast. Room is specious and clean. Just the bed and pillows could have been better, more comfortable, but I need to be fair - the one we had were still ok. All in all, I recommend this hotel. It was not my first stay there and if I come back to Salerno, most probably I choose Novotel again.

This was my worst experience with Novotel I have ever had. I often sleep in Novotel chain , this property does not deserve novotel class - it is at best Ibis, especially when it comes to breakfast. Terrible burnt bacon and scrambled eggs like stone. Plus practically nothing else - if you do not count hard bread and hopeless cold meat. Don't buy breakfasts there, as they are worthless. Rooms yes, comfortable, but already the service at the reception desk ( except for a nice lady with red hair) is a drama. Ladies busy mainly with themselves. The same, moreover, in the restaurant - one nice person. The rest behave as if they were doing a favor that they work. In addition, the hotel is located close to the sea, but there is no way to get there, and it is completely remote and far from the city. Do not order a cab through the reception - it arrives and already has a meter 10 euros for getting there. The only plus is the parking lot.

The staff is extremely rude, would not help with the simplest requests. AC didn't work The Bathroom is tiny and set-up more for washing off a small child or a dog. The breakfast was barely edible, coffee from a machine that didn't function correctly. I understand this is a beach hotel but my experience was less than satisfactory.

Overall good stay, definitely not a 4* experience

The swimming pool was closed. We understood from the reception staff it was supposed to open in June. There is no information about that on the website, from which it seems the pool is always open.
