I would like to express my disappointment with my recent stay due to an unpleasant incident in the hotel room. I discovered a live maggot on the water station desk, which was both disturbing and concerning from a hygiene perspective.
What made the experience even more disappointing was that it took more than 45 minutes for the hotel staff to arrive and remove it. While I appreciate that the staff eventually attended to the issue, the incident itself raises serious concerns about the hotel’s room cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Considering that the hotel has recently undergone renovations, I would have expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and room maintenance. Finding a live maggot in the room is simply unacceptable and certainly not what a guest should experience during a hotel stay.
I hope the hotel management takes this feedback seriously and conducts a thorough review of its housekeeping procedures and hygiene standards to prevent similar incidents from happening to other guests. Renovations may improve the hotel’s appearance, but maintaining proper cleanliness and hygiene is fundamental to providing a comfortable and trustworthy guest experience.
I look forward to hearing how the hotel intends to address this matter.

Hotel located in city center of Kuching. Room is cozy and rather soundproofed.
Housekeeping fell short. Our room (not the bathroom) rubbish bin was not cleared. Room wasn't vacuumed because we could see hairs around on floor and in bathroom. One towel was not replaced despite on the ground.
Culina restaurant for breakfast buffet was not worth the price. Your coffee is too diluted. For a cappucino, There was way too much milk than coffee ratio. Go learn from baristas how coffee is made please. Buffet spread was not fancy for the price we paid for. Even 5 star hotel chains like Marriott in Indonesia can serve a more decent variety spread for almost the same amount charged by Pullman Kuching. So do your benchmark properly. and not just benchmark against Malaysian standards when third country hotels can do better than yours.

Anakjustin was kind enough to upgrade my room and extended complimentary lounge and breakfast service to my parents as well as extending late check out to 5pm. It was a nice gesture esp we have some hiccups prior to our arrival where we missed our first night stay.
Will definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again when back to Kuching.

During my stay, my room access was accidentally granted to another guest by the concierge staff without verifying the guest name first. This incident had negated all the other pleasant experiences I had during my stay eg clean and spacious room, attentive staff.

Absolutely amazing hotel. Everything exceeded our expectations. The gorgeous room, lovely reception area, fabulous huge pool area and probably the largest breakfast selection possible. Great location and wonderful staff too. Highly recommended. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.

Thanks for the recent refurbishments, stayed here some time back and the overall design was basic and functional. Now much more welcoming and trendy.
The room is great with nice toilet, love the space and cosiness. The sound proofing is not fantastic as I could hear corridor conversations.
The safety briefing at our event was very clear and specific in directing the participants from the ballroom to the assembly area.
The dining spread at Culina is slightly above average, much improved over before refurbishment. The curry puff was great, I had 6 pieces.
Your staff at Culina very responsive when I highlighted slippery section at the coffee machine area and deployed a staff to caution guests during breakfast hour around 7am (Oct 5) while waiting for janitor to clean up the slippery spot.

I've arrived on a very busy week for Sarawak. Kuching was filled with events. But nonetheless i expect the normal hospitality from the Pullman brand. The moment i arrived at the lobby, no doorman, no busboy. I brushed it off. Maybe busy with other guest. But no one including the receptionist even offered someone to deliver my bags to the room which i felt very strange for a hotel. I don't mind the bag being late but this is unthinkable for a hotel brand. Dissapointing. I checked-in. Room was ok but there is no pillow menu. I asked for a hard pillow but was told that they only have the standard pillow. Bed was ok. Breakfast buffet was so-so at best. Will i come again? Probably not. Get your act together.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is in a peaceful area, away from heavy traffic, but still close to Kuching Waterfront. The room was very comfortable, the lobby was lovely, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. There are some nice restaurants nearby, although you’ll need to walk a little further.
