Perfect, that's all I can say

Upon arrival I was greeted by a lovely young lady with a bright smile, not enough youth has manners these days so it made my old heart smile. Thank you Francesca for making me know that there's still hope for the world. The room itself was very light and airy, definitely refreshing to wake up with the sun as light creeped through the window. The view which I have seen many complaints about, was perfectly satisfactory to me. Saw so many birds landing on the Macdonalds roof, really got to fill in some pages of my bird spotters book, glad I packed the old binoculars. I definitely would recommend staying, and hope to come again when I've booked for my next cruise.

Great location and price

I requested a room in the quite part of the hotel but instead I was placed with neighbours banging doors and running in the corridors. I had an important work meeting the next morning and didn’t get to sleep until 3am after I asked to swap my room.

excellent as usual

stayed four nights, on one night the heating failed and i was given a radiator to warm the room. the staff were very helpful, exceptionally the manager who was outgoing and kindly and fixed the problem promptly.

We left….. the room was basic but ok, but the third bed we booked wasn’t made and it was freezing, when I ask for it to be made I was told it wasn’t policy to make the bunk beds…. When I explained I booked a room for three people you expect beds for three people…. I was told not our policy…. The heating obviously didn’t work properly as you had an oil radiator in the room, but that cut out every few minutes….. You did refund…. But not a great experience having to find another hotel at 7.30 in the evening
