I've just returned from a two night stay at this hotel. Overall the hotel is well located although there is no tube station nearby you have to take the overground train initially. It was mostly clean and well presented however the carpet in my room 518 was terribly stained. Generally a pleasant stay although they don't take cash and you can't charge anything to your room after 10pm. For these reasons I will not stay here again, I boycott any business who don't also take cash.

Nice hotel with typical basic rooms which were cleaned every day. Nice comfy bed. Great shower. Tv that worked. Nice desk area. Friendly team on reception. My only issue was my card kept having to be redone. I’d get to my room on the 5th floor. My card wouldn’t work. Then come all the way back down. But it was sorted in a matter of seconds. Stayed here for business. 6 nights. Will return.

We have stayed a few times and found the hotel clean and good value for money. The last time we visited we arrived on a Sunday at 13:00 and check in was 15:00. We were offered £10 to check in early! The receptionist said that the hotel was quiet so obviously just squeezing as much money out of us as possible and I didn’t pay on principle. I could fully understand if the hotel was busy and they would have to make a room up quickly. The female receptionist was very unhelpful and didn’t seem bothered. Would have given 5 stars otherwise.

Always a great place to stay. Staff are all very helpful and friendly. Thaxun in the bar was excellent this evening. The manager and the reception team are always ready and willing to help. Stayed here more than 200 times in the last 3 years as I am working locally. Never had a single complaint.

Very poor experience at this Ibis. On checking out and settling the account, I left my details for the general manager to contact me but they didnt bother. That is just poor behaviour and totally inexcusable hence writing this review on Trip Advisor.
