Our hotel perfectly located near Paddington Station which gives easy access to five major tube lines including the brand new Elizabeth line, National Rail services and Heathrow Express Train where you can reach Heathrow Airport in 15 minutes. Also being close to Paddington Station makes it very easy to visit places outside of London too like Oxford, Cambridge and so on.

WHAT A PLEASURE THE NOVOTEL IS

Having read some of the scary reviews on here about this Hotel I was concerned about my Booking. On arrival I was met by a very speedy and friendly check in. Everything was explained correctly and concisely. Our room was of a good standard and our third bed was already made up. Roomy, bright and a nice bathroom. There is lots of space for luggage etc. Complimentary Still Water in the fridge is a plus. I booked the pool for Friday evening, Saturday morning and Sunday morning and it was a lovely extra. Nice changing rooms, sauna, steam room and a gym. This is a major plus for a Central London hotel especially if you have kids in tow. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. This is not my usual part of London to stay in when visiting but it was a pleasure. If this is where you want to visit...THIS HOTEL IS WELL WORTH IT...lots of bars, restaurants etc in the vicinity with Paddington a 5 min walk away. I would give 5 STARS to the Hotel and Staff. Well done.

The 3 of us came to London to celebrate my husband birthday, they welcomed us at reception very well as our flight arrived very late .hotel is very modern and So convenient for trains and buses I would like to mention the wonderful - staff MERINA she really looked after us , she personally brought a surprise birthday plate with delicious chocolate cake , and looked after us during breakfast time too. We will be back soon .spa was good too,

Good place to stay

We stayed here for 6 nights whilst in London. Location in Paddington has excellent walking access to Paddington Station, with Heathrow Express providing very quick access to and from Heathrow. Plenty of restaurants nearby, although the Hotel’s restaurant and breakfast were good. Situated in a very good quiet area with no traffic in the immediate vicinity of the hotel - a quiet haven from the rest of London. We did find the room a little warm and the temperature was hard to adjust lower, otherwise everything else was very good.

Slightly disappointed!

Slightly disappointed! The Novotel is in a brilliant location close to my office and Paddington station. Service on check in was really good and the lady who delivered my room service was very friendly which was welcomed after a long day travelling and then in meetings. The exterior, reception and bar area was lovely but this was contrasting to my room which was very disappointing. My room did not match the exterior or lobby at all as the carpet was heavily stained, holes in the curtains and it just felt to be massively in need of a refresh.

In 2023/2024, our property went through extensive renovations in the bar, restaurant, lobby, conferences, meeting rooms and now with the entire renovation of our exterior facade been completed in late December 2024, the leisure centre and guest rooms will follow next. We appreciate that with renovations been completed in our public areas and exterior facade, the aging of the rooms becomes now more evident, but nevertheless, please accept my most sincere apologies for the the disappointment caused during this transition period and I trust that when the time is right, you will give us the opportunity to welcoming you again in a future visit to London.
