Let be very clear here, location, staff, breakfast brilliant, and very clean, outside of the hotel, loads of places to eat, drink, catch a concert but the rooms where very depressing, dated and by throwing a mattress top over an aging mattress doesn’t really cut it. I was booked in for 3 nights and after returning for my 2nd night stay, I decided to grab my belongings and see if I could make the last train home from Euston to Chester, then stay another night. This could be a great hotel, if they spent a little bit of money on small quality beds. I am going to give it a 3*, but little enhancements could easy improve the rating. Thanks, but I won’t be returning!

Egle and the Team were so welcoming and even gave me an amazing birthday surprise. This was my third stay at the hotel. The location is perfect for shopping, and close to transportation to anywhere in the city. Their clean rooms and warm hospitality will bring me back again.

We stayed here after a recent concert. The room was fine and clean. The only odd thing was that the tea/coffee making facility was not stationed anywhere near a plug socket? The staff all seemed friendly enough. From prior experience we skipped paying extra for the rather bland tasting buffet breakfast and found a local TA recommended cafe, which was wonderful.

Average hotel with an expensive price tag, we did stay during Taylor swift tour so uplift was to be expected. It was good for just a bed for the night. Bathroom door in room 431 didn’t shut. Beds were rock hard. Breakfast was like warm but edible.

Just a few months after my first stay (when I gave a high rating) I was greeted by what you can see in the pictures below (show the bed, toilet paper and bathroom door). I have no words to express my disappointment. Old and dirty. During the night I had to breath this unknown white dust that was pouring out from under the mattress and on either side of the bed. It looked like lime. It hadn't been cleaned all the time. I barely made it through the end of my stay. The hotel is in urgent need of renovation. I don't give 1 star just because of the wonderful staff. I will never return to this hotel.
