That the worst service I had in UK in that price range. the rooms are small and the staff don't care about customer even if your are Diamond status! I will avoid this hotel next time, even if i have to pay more for another one.

The location was great other than the construction site right next to it. Very conveniently placed next to Paddington station and walking distance to Hyde Park. That said, facilities are old and terribly in need of refurbishment. Staff's attitude left lots to be desired and certainly not at the level expected of the Mercure brand. Even ibis staff were more helpful and cheerful. The price that you pay is for location. Breakfast was typical greasy spoon stuff and better off saving the money to eat elsewhere.

Stayed there fore 13 nights after coming back to the UK. The hotel's location was really nice and just a few steps from the Covid test centre which was really convenient for the UK arrival tests. The staff was all nice. However, there were quite a number of constructions around the hotel which sometimes caused too much noise during the day; yet, the dust was all around the area. Also, the wall was a little too thin so you could hear when people fought or talked in front or next to your room. Shampoo and shower gel were provided BUT not together.. some day there were only 3-4 bottles of shampoo and some day were tons of shower gel. Would recommend for a short stay if you happen to have business around there but for a long-stay, you might wanna look for some places more quietly.

This hotel is just a couple of minutes' walk from Paddington station, so we could drop our bags and be on our way speedily. Likewise, we could leave our bags and pick up close to train departure time. Rooms are relatively small but comfortable. The only real downside is the current building work making the location of the room important - to avoid a premature start to the day.

One of the best locations in London for getting around and doing business. The check in was very smooth, Bogdan was very helpful in organizing a late check out with no drama. A good set up with the Guffunkel Restaurant next door.

Executive room good size and comfortable bed. Staff were very helpful including General Manager whom I had communicated with before hand. Small problems / and requests dealt with in a timely fashion. If using Paddington Station then ideal location with good connections to rest of London.

Average stay in a great location, but could be so much better

Unlike most other hotels I use from the Accor Group, I was not offered pre-arrival online check-in and when I did arrive they didn't seem to have any of my Accor loyalty club details so I had to re-submit those and go through the full check-in procedure. The room I was given was a standard double and small but more than adequate for a one-night business stay, however the bathroom was particularly tiny and could even have been unusable for anyone much larger than I am! Then at checkout, expecting to use Fast Checkout as I'd checked was available to me the previous evening, I was called back and had to resubmit my credit card to pay there and then... not great service. Breakfast in Garfunkels next door is convenient, but poorly organised and slow, with the lack of restocking and then space around the buffet table making it very difficult to get your meal started. And to be frank, when the hot food, which had taken an age to be offered and get ordered, finally arrived it was as best adequate and really not of great quality, so a bit disappointing overall.

Very near Heathrow Express Station

I stayed 6 days during Christmas with 30% discount and breakfast under global sales. It doesn't matter not to be any next level upgrade for my Platinum level, but there is not any online checkin email. Staff for housekeeping are really work hard to clean my room under 4 luggage in the 10 sqm room. The rate includes breakfast. I can choose Hotel Indigo London Paddington as alternative for some days. Indigo has more choice especially vegan. Anyway, you must taste both if there is the chance.

I booked the EXECUTIVE ROOM WITH KING-SIZE BED of the hotel Mercure Paddington through the Accor website. The room was described as a 'Privilege Room (approx. 26sqm) with a 200cm wide bed.' When we arrived early, we were told that the hotel was fully booked, but that they would walk us to their sister property for a comparable. We were walked to Hotel Indigo Paddington, not an Accor hotel. As I expect a certain standard from Accor hotels and am not familiar with the Hotel Indigo brand, I was disappointed. We were initially offered the 'Standard Compact 1 Double' which was an incredibly tiny room and definitely not a 200cm wide bed. We explained what we had booked and then they offered us another room, the Superior 1 King. This room was smaller than the booked 26 sqm but slightly larger than the first, and again not a 200cm wide bed. We spoke with the Mercure staff to explain that this was not the same level of room as we had booked, smaller size and smaller bed. They informed us that none of the hotels in their group (apparently the owners of a few hotels, not Accor) have 200cm wide beds. As this is a requirement for us and was clearly listed in the room description, we were very disappointed, asked for a refund, and left.  Thankfully, we were able to book a room at a nearby hotel.  We are still waiting for our card to be refunded.  While the manager and staff we talked to were all friendly, more could have been done. When we asked the manager what she was planning to do to remedy the situation she said that we could either keep the room they'd offered us or cancel the reservation. I'm very confused how a hotel advertising multiple rooms with '200cm wide beds' doesn't have a single bed that is 200cm wide. The manager told us that the beds in their entire hotel group are 90cm wide and so their larger beds are only 180cm wide. This is odd as the single beds are described as 100cm wide, so a double bed would be 200cm wide if they pushed them together. The manager was uninformed about the hotel bed size, deceiving us to convince us that none of their beds were as wide as advertised, or the website is describing the rooms incorrectly - any of these three scenarios are unacceptable.

Cold reception, colder room

I have stayed at your hotel many times. The usual cold reception with the night team at check in is expected. This time, the room was so cold as the heating was not working. The fact that I checked in at 2am, I was hoping by 3am the heating would have kicked in. The noise from the heating was unbearable so in the end I slept very poorly. By 4am, knowing that I had to be up in 3 hours, I slept with my coat and socks on - I may as well slept on the bench at the station! I reported the matter in the morning. The lady was not rude but obviously not registering that I was somewhat upset and angry. She never apologized for my suffering but did promise me the invoice by email. Of course, I had to chase to obtain one on email. The attention to guest needs is poor. As a platinum member, I expected a tad more attention to details than one without history of loyalty. I never even received my drinks voucher. I raised it at check in to highlight that I was a loyal accor member, but that was too much of a clue for them. Overall, the hotel is run by a poorly managed team. The feeling I got as a loyal member was that of someone begging for a room for the night. The heating was only a small part of my unpleasant stay. I stayed at Novotel in Birmingham the next night and the treatment was entirely different - much more valued and pleasant.

I stayed at Mercure Paddington for a short family vacation. it's a typical business hotel but was also perfect for families. The location is perfect with easy access to the underground or a 15 min walk to Oxford Street. The front desk staff were very friendly and service minded.

位置很棒,帕丁顿站出站就是,方便。 房间很小,28寸箱子打不开,地铁很吵,每次过地铁都轰隆隆地响,总体还行。 早饭是包给隔壁小餐馆的,自己吃6.5磅,酒店要收10磅。

Comfortable Centrally Located Hotel

A comfortable and quiet hotel in a great location with excellent Tube/ Public Transport and Heathrow Express Services. The room if somewhat small by Australian standards was comfortable and well maintained by polite housekeeping staff. Bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was very welcome as was the double glazing kept the room quiet in spite of being in a busy location. Breakfast served in the adjoining restaurant was of good quality with fine service. Storage in the room could be increased and the provision of a refrigerator (not too common place in the UK) would lift this review to a 9.9.

Room much smaller than advertised. Room in poor shape. Items broken or not working. AC unit extremely loud. When shut off and windows open the drug dealers and prostitutes fighting replaced AC noise. Beggars at front entrance.

Hotel fine very clean, room a little small but ok for short break. Be good to let customers know about building works before the arrive but wad not too much of an inconvenience. Offered a complimentary drink on arrival which was nice as it was very warm, nice gesture.

The Mercure London Paddington Hotel was the best hotel to stay as it was very close to Paddington Station, walking distance. We had an early check in although arrived a bit early and the room was not ready although the staff went out of their way to have the room ready on time. The room was big light and airy with opening windows in the room and bathroom. Everything was very comfortable in the room and hotel, nothing to complain about.
