2 days at the Sofitel Krabi .. had dinner both nights at their Venezia restaurant .. Great Team Of Peemai and her colleagues Jean - Ma - Naf - Nook. They were friendly- warm and even helped us out with info on what to do in Krabi. Shall certainly be visiting Venezia in the future! Me ( Rajnish ) and my wife ( Geeta ) wish to thank them and the very best in their careers.

AL concierge manager and Jina from concierge went above and beyond their duties to make me and my son’s stay an exceptional one. They recommend excellent activities, we’re always hospitable and kind and best of all, AL went the extra mile to speak with the chef of White Lotus Restaraunt to cook fish we had caught on a fishing expedition. The fish tasted extra good 😄 and made the trip an extra memorable one. Kudos to the Chef who cooked the various fish excellently! The facilities were excellent and recommended especially for families. We used the gym which was very good too. Despite us not being allowed a late check out due to high occupancy we still rate the property an excellent one.

Beautiful hotel with super friendly staff

We spent 4 nights at this beautiful hotel on our 2 week trip to Thailand. The hotel was really wonderful as were all of the staff who all went out to greet you every time they saw you. Our room was lovely overlooking the pool and the sea and had everything you could need for your stay. Breakfast was great with so much choice of food. We had a lovely meal at the White Lotus restaurant and the service was exceptional. We did also go to the Thai buffet which was on the lawns one evening although we're slightly disappointed with the lack of choice although the food we had was very tasty. The only disappointment for us was the beach which we found to be dirty and not suitable for swimming although the hotel pool more than made up for this as this was superb. As others have mentioned the drink prices are expensive especially the wine but I guess that's a price you pay for the beautiful hotel and surroundings. Would definitely recommend this place.

We have just returned from this hotel. The actual quality of the hotel and the staff is outstanding but the reason for this lower score was because of the prices of the drinks and the quality of the food in the Indian and Italian. The pool side bar and restaurant was superb and the staff were brilliant. Special mention to Golf, Sky, Palmy, Sam and Na who all served us very well and nothing was too much trouble. Also a mention to Lennon who took us on a boat ride to the Phi Phi. The captain and bosun were very good and capable but I didn’t get their names. The place was peaceful and serene. Just need to sort your pricing out. Put it another way, we spent over £2000 on our bar bill and incidentals which was just for 12 nights. 10 of those night we ate out of the hotel and had great food, service and drinks at a fraction of the cost. I can afford this pricing but I don’t like being taken advantage of!!!!!

Starting with the good things: Plenty of facilities across the resort complex and its in a quiet location which is good. Service was not great. Despite reminding the hotel over email (and them confirming) the airport transfer was not ready on time (they had not updated the flight details) and there were not enough beds in the rooms. Check in was the slowest I have ever had in a hotel and I had to chase 3 times to get the additional bed in the room. Food was not great. Pretty poor for a sofitel with the exception of the Croissants at breakfast. The Club Millésime was very minimalist and when I asked for something vegan, we got a vegetable sandwich (with spread...not vegan!).
