Good evening, I would like to share my experience 2 nights stay with Novotel Mangga Dua Square Jakarta. As a Platinum member, I would recommended this four stars hotel for businesses, travellers and staycation holiday. They provide with 5 stars excellent services, especially thanks to Ms. Eva (receptionist), Mr. Lutfi, (restaurant) and Mr. Danny (room service) and others. They were really helpful and satisfaction serviced during my stays. The room also big, get free upgrade to the suite room, the hot top bath also similar like Jacuzzi, working perfectly normal. Definitely will come back again. Thanks once again, good job everyone, appreciated with Smile 😀

Overalls ok fromcheckin until checkout and room Service also fast response and very helpful. Only the bathroom, when I want to go take a bath in the next day. The water very dirty I don't why but the staff just said open all the tab until all the water clear back by it self. It's waste our time for this things more than 1 hours. 😞

firstly i already checked in online but have to queuing , register and payment for almost 30 mins ( i already paid online but they said its not charged yet ) they didnt inform us before that the hotel was used for isolation for covid 19 ( divided in all floors , why dont just used some floors , its concerned me because of the AC central ) they told us right when we checked in so we didnt have a choice nor anyplace to go. requested for non smoking room and they gave me smoking room ( told me that its been empty for 2 days but the corridors and everytime i opened the door smells so bad ) . Drunk peoples in the next room very noisy in 2-7am and banging the doors so loud that disturbed everyone in the floors but so slow handled . overall im so disappointed

I've been in love with this hotel for a long time now, as they always keep their quality maintained and the staffs are just wonderfully kind. To spend time with family or to do some business stuffs with colleagues, I will be back again and again to this hotel. Even one of my coworker thought that the hotel is a 5-star hotel (they are now still listed as a 4-star). Well, all I can tell is that the quality is already 5-star, but with much cheaper price than any other 4-star hotels. This is a "must-try-hotel" in Jakarta, both for business or leisure.

Good value, But they need to improve their service

Overall the hotel is good, but they should improve their service. There are rest staff who are ignorant when we called several times (we didn't know he is on call, but he shouldn't ignore). Requesting a plate from a restaurant took more than 15 minutes. When i asked to check the room for missed items, it took more than 30 minutes. I think they should work faster in serving. 4 star hotel but service like 2 star

Nice stay, indulged by excellent services but wifi connection in my room was so poor due to poor range. Hope the hotel management would improve this matter. But afterall i will stay again in Novotel Mangga Dua Square

Worst reservation experiences

I have stayed at this hotel for 2 (two) nights, booked executive suites room (number 7143) with accor-megatix promo voucher. Due to non-refundable voucher policy, I have consulted with reservation team to choose the right booking tarif and determine how much voucher I should purchase. Unfortunatelly I did not notice the name of the staff. One day before check-in, i called the hotel reservation staff again to reconfirm my reservation and to validate my voucher. Surprisingly, they rejected my bookings and forced me to re-book again with more expensive booking tarifs due to Voucher’s regulation. The reservation staffs was lacking many information regarding this voucher, and SADLY the guest should bare the risk resulted through their Under-Knowledge behaviour. I was forced to book again due to voucher’s non-refundable policy and fixed business schedule. Additionaly, many hospitality aspects was lacking despite of COVID-19 situation, such as: lack intuitive of concierge personel to bring in and take out luggage, no bath robes, no dialy mineral water, and water leakage in bathroom rooftop. 3 days after my departures, a duty manager called Mrs Lian called me and intended to reduce my traumatic experiences with this hotel. She offered me free upgrade to Suites room for my next booking with any kind of lowest booking price. I am gladly accepted the offer. Right now I am still waiting for her detailed written statement to avoid further misunderstanding. To other traveller which intended to book this hotel: please be meticulous and careful, especially by choosing the promotional tarifs. This hotel’s reservation staff is not well trained. You should demand written statement to avoid the trauma which I’ve experienced.

Good Hotel and Perfect Location

Novotel Mangga Dua have perfect location, it’s next step to Mangga Dua Square Mall. Room clean and comfy, as member ALL Accor we got room upgrade during our stay. Fast during checkin and checkout and handled by professional staff in the front desk. This hotel have good facilities, you can swim in large pool and they have fitness centre next to their business center. During this new normal period the executive lounge closed but the hotel provide evening cocktail in the gourmet bar. Restaurant ambience is great as well as friendly and attentive staff in this premises but I believe they need to improve food quality since I have twice bad experience with the food during my dinner. And the last one is not all staff have good attitude especially the lady in the business centre she is so rude, I do believe that as part of their service the staff attitude is one of the crucial thing. Hopefully the management could improve the staff attitude so the hotel could deliver superior services for every guest even in the new normal conditions.

All good except for the level 7 passage to my room has stale smell did informed housekeeping but they just sprayed air freshener but the smell is still around. Also the passage way has no air condition too.

Please clean up yr breakfast area from cockroaches. Spoke to a staff that did not care about that problem..................................... Stayed there for 11 nights as Platinum guest. Please also clean up the attitudes of your night security guard and your bellboys from asking/hoping for tips over things they should be their job anyway. Especially the male night security guard.

Quite convenient location , next to a mall and near by got many restaurant. room it self is ok but the bathroom design are crazy , room 7212, the toilet bowl are facing wall and the distance from wall to the toilet bowl are less then 1 feet, how to use it ? the step to enter bathroom and step to enter shower room are quite high , it's may not safe for elder person after I request , then move to 5th floor and at least the toilet bowl are normal.

Its been a great stay for me and my friends over the year. Novotel is always home for us. Please send our best regards to the very attentive and polite security team, concierge team (the entire team is awesome, every single security and concierge staff is awesome, professional and super helpful!), front office, especially Nugroho, plus lounge staff especially Vera, Jeannice, Yuhana, the very very honest housekeeping team led by the perfectionist Edwin, the restaurant led by the marvelous Chef Adhi and his assistant Ricky and served by the ever cool Nila, Yudi, Sinta, Natalia. The gourmet bartenders, all of them! Marvelous bunch I cant mention all the names. And all the back end staff. Special mention to Axel and Michael for running this place so professionally well.

Just returned after 3rd stay in this hotel. The hotel is large and both room types I’ve tried have been clean and well appointed. Quite a relaxed atmosphere with the pool and pond area .The staff have all been friendly and helpful. I will be staying here again next time work takes me to Jakarta.

The perfect place to stay in Jakarta that will sum this review up. It's not far from the central so distance doesnt matter. Staff are very well trained and hold high standards on guests satisfaction. The hotel manager Mr Axel plays a very active role in the hotel and is almost everywhere. One of the best hotels and most spacious rooms I have had in all my travels.

Hotel has a very good location connected to a shopping mall. Having a Platinum status of the Accor club has it's full peaks. We checked in and received a room upgrade, welcome drink and snacks to fill our stomachs. Room was very big and spacious. All the staffs were Excellent . Very happy with our stay.

Stayed in Novotel Bangkok and Beijing. This Jakarta Square it's no good. Booked a King Size bed and registered 2 Adults and 1 child. Could not believe my eyes when I checked in after a tired flight. In the room there's only 1 Toothbrish, 1 glass in the bathroom, 1pair room slippers, 1 tube shampoo, 1 tube body wash, 1 bath towel, 1 face towel, a locked Safe Deposit and a miserable air con that does not run. Hello Novotel, did I paid half price for this booking? This is a laughing stock in the Hotel and Tourism Industry! What kind of standard is this. The miracle question is why only give amneties that is meant for 1 but I booked it for 3 not 1.Is this the way so I could sent in your housekeeping and give them some tips so I can have my amenities! I went to the reception almost 11pm and give them my feed back. In the end 1 extra towel and 2 extra tubes of shampoo and body wash was sent up. I request for a room to be change the next day morning if the room still not cold . forget about the safe deposit box. Anyway the whole box can be carried away. So how safe could it be. Next day room was changed. Amenities was given. I thought the worst was over. But no. On 2nd night about 10pm I used the Gymn n wanted my Welcomed Drink. Was told no welcomed drink at night despite I saw 2 waiter as at the bar counter on level 5. They can't be providing it because it's at night but turned me, a hotel guest away. I'm thirsty I asked for a coke and I pay for it. Guess what they said. Sorry no drinks of any kind to be served or sold at this hour 10pm. Real bad. I asked can I order room service. Surprised to me. Pls Return to your room and order room service but I cannot order anything when I'm at the bar table! 4th day I checked out ordered my Drinks, Sat at the bar table. I witness your waitress collected back a coffee cup and washed But There was a Cookie that the guest did not eat with the coffee, your waitress took it back and put back into the plastic box with other cookies. Guess who will eat best in worried.This is the wildest and worst Novotel. I stayed in Bangkok and Beijing few times all the best service.
