The problem was the parking. I booked as I saw that there were sufficient parking but got to know that the hotel has nothing to do with the parking next door, asking the guests to take their chances if they can park or not. The hotel should have an agreement to secure certain number of parking, or allow making reservation for the parking slot, with the next door parking space.

Walking distance to major attractions, eateries and shopping places; staff are friendly and helpful. Not to forget the unsung cleaning helper Ms. Sasaki and another person (sorry I forgot the name) that has been helping in room tidying during my stay.

It is my 3rd stay in this hotel in 1.5 years and I am never disappointed. The Mercure is in a great location, especially with the direct connection to Ginza-itchome station by elevator (very convenient), in 5 walking distance to Ginza and about 15 min to Tokyo station. The staff is always warm and welcoming, and despite the covid restrictions they are able to provide an excellent service. The rooms are not too small, especially for central Tokyo, about 25m² and since the area is quiet you sleep peacefully. I already know that my next business trip to Tokyo is in October 2022 and I cannot wait to stay here again.

Very friendly reception staff and after arrivibg early from Shizuoka Prefecture and just wanting to drop off our luggage, we were very kindly offered check in at 10.15am. Room was very clean and beautiful. Also, able to leave luggage in a secure storage area at reception after check out before collecting it, later. Enjoyable 2 night stay. I surely enjoyed staying at Mercure Tokyo Ginza. Location was superb. Easy access to restaurants, shops, bars, and many tourist destinations. Service was also great. Everyone working there was very professional. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Gold ALL member. The staff was all fluent in English and super helpful, upgrading my room and making sure all my questions were answered. I only wish there was some sort of 24/7 room service and satellite TV. Only Japanese channels was a let down, even having just BBC World News would be nice

This hotel is ideally placed in the centre of everything. Close to Metro stations and close to shopping et cetera. The staff are wonderful and the manager very friendly and approachable. The breakfast was a little bit repetitive with the same menu each and every day, but I’m sure that was because of the current pandemic situation and the restrictions placed upon the hotel. The staff, as I’ve said, we are excellent. Thank you

Bed was comfortable, loved having a bath tub. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Got a complementary late checkout as an ALL silver member and a free drink. The Manager was very helpful with information on our train route booking to get to Hakuba. Very pleasant stay.
