Average and stupid service charge on everything

This is far too expensive for an Ibis. Was given a room right next to the lift, no water in room either. Also, they charge 10% service charge for everything - even a pint at the bar, which is already £7. When I asked why the guy said ‘because it’s better for us’ - he then pointed to the section where I was asked to leave a gratuity as well. Not a chance. This isn’t America. Similarly, tried to get an Appletise from the downstairs bar. £6! Which included 50p service charge. For what? Getting one out the fridge and giving it to me?!

Good location, clean tidy rooms, warm greeting at Reception by Elijah, who was very attentive, and informative, have stayed several times and will definitely stay again

Excellent customer service at restaurant, nice atmosphere, excellent food ( thanks to chef who done a perfect medium well stake) and special thanks to Noura who served us with such a nice presence, kindness and helpfulness,nothing was to much and her smile made our evening enjoyable. Great hotel- new finding

What an excellent hotel. The location is truly perfect-there's a bus stop right at the hotel's front door, and the underground station at 5-minute walk away. The room was stunning, with a very comfortable bed. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly and professional. The shower was spacious and and clean and overall everything in the room was designed for comfort. The breakfast was just outstanding quality ingredients and fresh . I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
