An Staff from the bar Wiltek always forcing guest asked for good reviews and keep when we talking in Chinese he always repeat what we talking and always not greeting. Most of the time when we met him, he always asked do we like him or not and annoying us both.

I stay here very nice and clean and the staff are very friendly and specially Mr. Wetiek very nice and political. I will come back for sure when i been in London. I really appreciate thanks for everything. Hotel it s very clean people it s very nice .

Paddington barely big enough

We booked a double room through our travel agent. We were given a room on the fifth floor. We opened the door and we were both glad we didn’t have a cat as we wouldn’t have been able to swing it. The bangs and rumbles, conversations in the hallways and top off with a fire alarm malfunctioning at 2.30am it was a bit rough. Add to this the bathroom was even smaller and had mould on the ceiling lessened to enjoyment. It is in close proximity to the railway and you can have breakfast in the restaurant in the mornings were the only positives. If you’re going to book see if they can give you something bigger than a shoe box

COMPLAINT ABOUT THE MERCURE LONDON PADDINGTON HOTEL

Do not stay at this hotel, they rip you off. We booked directly online in January this year for 3 nights. In June our flights were changed by the travel agent and we had one less night in London. We applied for a refund but they said no, so when we stayed there we asked again. After 2 weeks we received an email reply that there were no refunds. Surely advising them of a cancellation of 1 night of the 3, 2 months before our arrival should get a refund, it is 200 British pounds per night so we are really out of pocket

The quietest stay in London!

The Mercure London Paddington Hotel is conveniently located next to Paddington Station. We booked a smaller room, as when in big cities that is the main attraction not the hotel. This is a very comfortable space with all the appropriate facilities available. Staff are all very friendly and happy to assist where they can. This is a charming old building with lots of character. There is a lift for convenience so no lugging luggage up stairs, however, we enjoyed walking the stairs up to our room! We were on the top floor, and had the best sleep we have ever had in London! There was barely a noise. The street was surprisingly quiet and you barely hear the trains rumbling, considering the proximity to the station, local restaurants and a hospital we thought it would attract the usual loud London hustle and bustle in the evenings and nights. And bonus, very comfortable bed and pillows!!
