We stayed here having been moved from the Ibis Budget who had overbooked. Nicer lobby than the Budget but beyond that the only benefit is that this hotel has air conditioning. Rooms are tired and quite shabby, stained carpets and scuffed walls etc. Clean and comfortable bed. Location is great for a stop off if you're on a long drive. We've been staying at the adjacent Ibis Budget for 10 years or so off and on but like this hotel prices have risen and the hotels have started to look quite tired. So great location but in need of a refresh.

Stayed here for 3 nights as part of a coach trip. Check in was quick ( mainly done by the coach driver). There are only 2 small lifts so waiting time can be long, no stairs to use! We asked where the stairs are as only on the 1st floor, was told we had to go outside and a member of staff would have to open a door! The room was cold on arrival but did warm up with the heater on. Twin room but beds pushed together and no room to separate them. No tea/coffee facilities, limited storage and space. Small but adequate bathroom. Shower was good, spacious and hot. Basic toiletries offered. and one towel per gest, no hand towel. Breakfast was OK, usual offerings, limited hot food but enough to have some choice, not laid out very well, with the que for coffee in the way of the cold selection. Evening meal was provided as part of our coach trip, no choice offered, salad to start, which was very nice, chicken and tinned potatoes as a main and artic roll for dessert, no water provided so had to buy drinks. Overall, disappointed as very basic, Ok for few nights, would not have wanted a longer stay.

Never again -dreadful!

The good thing is that this hotel is close to the motorway and easy to find. Except that when I got there I wish I hadn't bothered. The rececption staff were indifferent to the point of rudeness. The lift had security issues which the receptionist had to explain a million times a day - and it showed. The restaurant was closed on a Sunday night (even though there were people eating when I got back from McDo}. The reception staff seem to not be aware that there are no restaurants locally on a Sunday. The breakfast was poor quality (badly cooked patisserie etc) and the staff emerged occasionally from the kitchen like frightened rabbits. The breakfast staff had the appearance of street homeless. Conclusion - a very unhappy experience and I would not stay there again even if they paid me.

The worst ibis hotel

The worst ibis otel I ever seen. We arrived there at 20:00 and even that late time the room was not cleaned. We were a group and all of the rooms was same. After that they gave us different room, it seems it was cleaned but not. They make very quick and cursory !! There is no refrigarator in the room.

We are family with two little kids. When we are arrive at the Hotel, we realized that the Hotel arranged two different rooms, one was at first floor and the other one was at fourth floor. We arrived at the the hotel at around 20:30. We were a group of visitors. We realized that all rooms arranged for our groups at first floor were not cleaned and prepared. It was the worst ibis hotel which I have ever stayed.
