We frequently stay at the Ibis. It’s a good location for our purposes. Staff very pleasant The rooms are of an adequate size with comfortable beds and a decent shower. If I were designing the bedrooms I’d add a mirror near the desk/dressing table for those that blow dry their hair. On this occasion the bacon each morning was over cooked/dry/inedible but there’s ham on offer but a shame for such a lot of bacon to be wasted at the end of service. I’m coeliac and can have GF bread toasted if I choose to have it. We will return.

My wife and I returned to the Bristol after several years due to the Covid pandemic. We stayed at the hotel for a night on our way to Cornwall and then again for a night on our way back to Kent. On both occasions the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts were very good with a great deal of choice the dinner we had at the hotel one of the nights was excellent. Car parking is easy and the cost reasonable for the convenience. It is not expensive for what you get is quality and it is now getting closer to what you pay for a room in an ibis and some premier inns. We look forward to returning to this hotel.
