Rude receptionist, not so clean room

The room needs improvement in terms of hygiene. It has been several times when we asked to clean or give us a garbage bag but they always say there was no housekeeper anymore (even when it was not late night). There was also a leak in the toilet which was gross, but nobody could immediately fix it until the following day. Receptionist guy at night was UNHELPFUL, IMPOLITE AND RUDE. My friend was not feeling well and accidentally vomited inside the garbage bin. He didn't show any concern Nor ask if we need help instead he told us angrily that it smells so we have TO CLEAN IT AND THROW THE PLASTIC BAG outside which we did. I asked if nobody can help us just throw the plastic bag, since I was taking care of my friend, he AGGRESSIVELY SAID IT IS NOT HIS JOB TO CLEAN IT AND NO HOUSEKEEPER. Worst receptionist ever, He could have just politely ask me. Location is not at the center but uber is cheaper and Prague is small so it's fine.

The rooms are in a labyrinth behind an office complex. Our room on floor 1, was shaded by a bamboo thicket so was very dark. But everything else was upto Ibis standard.

The hotel is located at very good location. There is a stop just outside the hotel for Tram and Bus. It's next to the palladium mall. Very convenient to reach anywhere. Hotel room is decent. Staff is good. Doesn't have too many veg breakfast options.

Firstly the location in the old town is excellent. Took public transport from the airport and the stops are right outside the hotel. Check in was pleasant. Nice common area near the bar, with a couple of guitars and a piano for guests. Bar service attentive and on point. Stayed in a standard room that has a work area & sitting area. It’s the level you would expect for an Ibis. Very comfortable sleep, temperature control was fine. Ample TV channels. Shower gel provided. Breakfast had plenty of continental and cooked options. Slightly chaotic feel when it was busy but it wasn’t an issue. They have a tray system reminiscent of school diner but in retrospect made things clean. I liked that there was a board that made people conscious of food waste. Good touch. Main square with Astronomical Clock Tower a short walk away, and a very well stocked shopping centre next door. Overall a very comfortable & enjoyable stay in the centre of Prague.

The staff was helpful and we checked in a little bit earlier. Very close to city center. It could be improved in terms of the design of the rooms, especially the bathroom. And the sinks in bathroom had an unpleasant smell when tap is on.
