Work trip with two nights at the Mercure. Good parking and hotel is set in lovely grounds with red squirrels and rabbits to entertain you. The hotel itself is very clean. Room was very big but no kettle. There was a small fridge with waters and drinks but at a charge. Toiletries provided in large dispensers. Ate in the hotel for one night and food was lovely. Breakfasts had a good choice and should meet everyone’s taste. Staff helpful and friendly. Lovely area to sit outside and we enjoyed the few good days of sunshine before returning to the English rain.

The stay was very pleasant, the staff was really nice from reception, bar and housekeeping. There were just a couple of issues like I had a do not disturb on my door, but housekeeping still went in to clean it and also breakfast had been charged to my room even though it was not included in the original booking and I never went for breakfast. It was really quite unpleasant, the team thought was super nice and they fixed it for us.
