It was ok, room is quite small, especially for 2 people. The worst thing is, shower exit is directlly onto the room.

Check in around 2 PM was impossible because the reception was closed till 5 PM. Check in through the console at the entrance was impossible because my Thai Credit Card has no PIN code. So I had to wait 3 hours, till the reception opened, before I could check in.

(not so) Cheap hotel, too good location to change

Adventure guaranteed. When cold, ventilation cannot be closed (DuctTape can be used). When hot, air conditioning is not working (window can be opened). When no water in shower, showerHead can be opened separately (nobody told). No micro, no plug in washingBasin (piece of plastic bag + soap still can be used). Location is good, managers are friendly. Oops, almost forgot: few weeks ago the price was deducted TWICE from my credit-card, once as a payment at my checking in (I was told I have no reservation on the internet), and once as a reserved amount (for my non-existent reservation). In case of somebody just at the end of the credit limit in a similar situation: it can be really annoying.

Clean and great value

I have been in this hotel a few times, I use it as a base to explore theme parks in Germany/Holland. I like it, simple, great value and very polite staff. The room is basic but has all you need (only missing an hairdryer) and it is very clean and in great conditions. It is also very quiet and with ample parking. Breakfast is good and well presented, with great staff, always ready to help. All in all I like it.

I stayed at this hotel as it was quite close to Dusseldorf Airport and my flight came in late in the evening. It was a standard Budget Ibis Hotel, although I thought the signage was quite poor, and I wasn't sure where to park. Fortunately SatNav found it for me.
