I checked in online in advance as suggested by the hotel. On the day of my arrival, I received an SMS at 1:40 pm informing me that the room was already available. I arrived at the hotel at 2:15 pm and the reception lady, in a very rude manner, told me that the room was not ready, that the SMS was sent automatically and that it did not commit the hotel to deliver the room before 3:00 pm. I understand that the rooms are normally delivered after 3:00 pm, so it would be helpful to change the text of the SMS that is sent automatically. There is no need to say the room is ready, if it is not ready. I was with my husband, we left our luggage at the hotel (because we had an appointment) and came back around 8:00 pm. A staff member at the reception assigned us a room, but when we entered the room, it was already occupied! There was already a gentleman living in that room. We went back down to the reception. It was a surprise for the hotel staff to have been assigned the same room twice! This is my first time! As an apology he gave us a voucher for a free drink in the hotel bar. This is a very nice gesture, but we were two people and he gave us a voucher for one drink only. Is this necessary? What's the point? better not to give us a voucher at all.

Might as well stay in an Ibis, for the same offering it would be cheaper. No restaurant, very limited snack choices, not well placed for city centre on foot, tv in room difficult to operate…….

I stay regularly for business alone or within group. Only one bad experience I had in my stay in March. I forgot clothes (3 units: knit vest from Marco Polo, new shirt from COS, blouse from Comma), informed 2nd day after arrival to Vienna (figure out when I opened suitcase). The initial answer was that nothing was found, later when I wrote on website answer was that all found. However when I stayed this week I got only one unit (blouse). I asked reception to address my feedback to cleaning service company.
