The Bath and Floor of Room is Bad

Hi. The Bath Tub was not draining. I had to call the room service in the middle of the night and he had to sort out opening the drain. When I came in the room there was no Bathroom disposable utilities (e.g. toothbrush, cap, shaving kit...etc). The FLOOR of the room was not clean. You can see dry stains of previous beverages and vomit on the moquette. Pretty unhealthy!. The BED was hard and the PILLOWs were HARD too. I got neck spasm the next morning. Horrible Stay. I got to tell the front desk at check out. The employee smiled and told me you should have told us and complained!

I've stayed at Novotel a couple of times before, but this time, I'm really not enjoying myself. The inconsistency in service is the main issue. For example, the absence of a coffee machine in one room but the other of the same room category. The reservation staff are fairly unfriendly, which is disappointing for a 4-star hotel. Throughout my 5-night stay, the chef at the egg station made the best impression. And, that says a lot. One more issue was the delay in my check-in by one hour, although they did extend my check-out time by another hour. However, when I called to reconfirm this extension on the day of check-out, the reception staff responded with 'Who said that?' before eventually confirming the extension. I believe a more polite response would have been something like 'Allow me to check on that for you' or 'Let me check that for you.' Considering I've stayed here a couple of times already and recommended this hotel to others, I expected friendlier service. Even when I privately expressed my disappointment in service, the reply is so automated that thank me for the positive feedback. The hotel has changed and, this time, I'm truly disappointed.

Cons, outdated hotel, awful food options, filthly rooms (i had to change room twice), they make yiu pay in advance for everything rather than placing a hold on the card. Room service is cold late and overpriced. Pros. Its close to the conference centre Id suggest staying anywhere else closeby. The Ibis looks a world apart at a similar pricepoint.
