While the services are similar to many other Ibis hotels, I was unpleasantly surprised by the fact that the three-bed room is any larger or has more storage space than the regular two-bed option. They just took out the relaxing area and added another bed haphazardly. Also, an issue that continues to repeat itself in Ibis hotels is the lack of proper cleaning of the bathrooms.

The hotel was very well located, a short walk from the bus stop to Amsterdam and not far from Sloterdjik train station. Our room (for three) was comfortable and well suited to a city break. The staff we had interactions with were all very pleasant. The hotel was quiet and the area seemed safe. We'd definitely consider staying again when we return to Amsterdam.

Very easy for public transport so don’t worry that it’s not in the city centre. Bus is very easy to figure out and comes regularly. Hotel rooms are basic and without any frills, but priced to match so nothing to complain about. Bar is pleasant, breakfast was ok. Staff all very polite and hotel very clean. Overall a great place to stay for a couple of days to explore the city.
