Great hotel for the money! Was a great value! Our room was clean & well maintained. Friendly staff! The hotel breakfast buffet was 10 Euros per person & well worth it! Plenty of variety…fresh breads, pastries, fresh fruit, eggs, meat & cheeses along with an espresso machine. Outdoor seating available for the breakfast.

This is the best IBIS we had been ever. Excellent hotel location , welcoming and empathetic staff. Very good location for the most important points there at Vila de Gaia plus the possibility to walk 5 minutes to look at the Douro river and the ocean: stunning view. It is possible to rest at the external area when the weather is warm. Very nice breakfast (IBIS simple and nice) in a well-lit place. Very clean and all the staff (reception, cleaning, assistant etc.) are very well trained. I hope to stay at this hotel when I travel to Vila de Gaia again. Uber to Porto from 8 Euro up to 12, but there is public transportation as well. There are popular restaurants at Furada, 10 m walk far from IBIS. Fair value for money.

Well what a fabulous find! The hotel is easily accessed from the airport via metro and then bus number 902 or 903. Alternatively an Uber is €15. Philipa who is on reception is outstanding. She is professional, knowledgable and friendly and goes out of her way to help. She is to be commended on her customer service. The hotel is spotless. The breakfast is €7 and value for money. It is a traditional continental with fresh bread, cakes, croissants; ham; cheese; fruit; eggs; cereal and yogurt. Great coffee, juice, teas, chocolate and water. The rooms is fairly basic but clean and functional. It is about a 40 minute walk along the river to the heart of Gaia where you access the footbridge into Porto. The walk is lovely. We walked in and out every day. Highly recommend this hotel and would return.

Amazing value for money

Although hotel has a quite out of town location it is still easily accessible from Casa da Musica with buses 902, 903, 907. By walk there is a wonderful path along riverside into the town (Ponte Luis) approx 5 kms. I preferred this option to get into the town. It is safe and relaxing to walk along Duoro. Breakfast variety is more than enough for budget hotel. Rooms are clean with comfortable beds for a great price. I can only recommmend to stay here when visiting the wonderful Porto.

I stayed quite some times in this hotel, it ain't luxury but the relationship price - quality is very good. Very well located, but you must have a car when staying here. Close to the main motorway to Lisbon, as well as a nice Shopping Centre.
