I’m an accor diamond member so I get additional perks. Some of the information may not be applicable. i’m definitely naming and shaming. Never had a worst experience at a hotel, let alone as a diamond member. i’ll start with positive- room upgrade, welcome drink and late checkout, small plate of fruit and some chocolates as welcome gift. this is were status recognition ends and more faulty towers. no thanks for my loyalty As I wasn’t going to earn many status points I opted to pay with my points, apparently at first I couldn’t do that, but as I have before (and terms state I can) I said I don’t think that is correct and finally it was accepted. 1st night given a mouldy leaking room, hotel was prompt to move us in the morning but no paying guest should have been given that room in the first place. It seemed to me the hotel knew about the issue. Don’t book this room for the lounge, only a few soft drinks available no snacks at all. There was evening cocktails limited to two drinks and very limited food offerings. Breakfast was the worst offering at set up like a school lunch room rather than an inviting place to eat. The worst was checkout, over 30mins trying to checkout (still wasn’t resolved but we had a taxi waiting- we went down 20mins before we booked our car, he was waiting 15mins when I told them I need to leave and walked out- total over over 35mins and still not resolved) we had used some dining whilst there and as I still have 10x $10euro I asked to use some of them. First was told no you can’t use (they didn’t even know what I was talking about first, had to show them the app on my phone). it was then back and forth, as the driver had been waiting 15mins already I told them I needed to leave. Grand Mecure Roxy Singapore maybe great prior to covid but certainly lost their game now. Don’t except much as a loyal accor member

Although it is far from the station, there is a bus stop nearby and cabs are readily available, so it is not difficult to get anywhere. Also, since daily necessities stores and shopping centers are within walking distance, there is no difficulty in obtaining daily necessities.

It is very well located near the airport but the hotel needs a little bit of refurbishing as switches were not working n sockets came out too need to work on this n make breakfast more interesting as very less options for vegetarians

Room is clean, but the power outlet is loose so my phone charger frequently disengages. Also, bidet is unavailable in the comfort room.
