We were greeted warmly upon arrival, but found the experience to be nothing special. The hotel and room were clean, but I found the service overall to be relatively indifferent. The room seemed equipped for only one guest (1 set of towels, 1 scratchy robe). My room was wonderfully quiet, maybe because my view was an alley with a building right outside - that's okay, it's what I booked. However, the food was a different story: at breakfast, the service was mostly absent and after a long day in DC, we ordered room service, which produced the worst steak I've ever had. It was grey on the outside, and sinewy/chewy on the inside. I'd expect a "French" restaurant to be able to produce steak frites. At least I didn't go hungry because I had the fries.

Nobody would answer phones. Had to cancel room service after waiting two hours. Extremely dated. Drained fridge. Sparse room service hours. Really not a great business oriented hotel.
