While the overall stay was indeed pleasant, there is unfortunately one topic I need to single out: As a group, we were booked at the hotel for a total of 5 days, from Monday to Friday. On Monday evening, I decided to try out the hotel's wellness facilities, mainly the sauna. Once entered, you have a button which I assume is for adding steam to the sauna - standalone it is a sauna w/ 80+ degrees, but you need to add water over hot rocks to generate steam (or as it was in this case, press a button and have steam flow into the sauna, somehow - I have no idea how, first time seeing such mechanism). Anyway, pressing the button did nothing. I highlighted this afterwards to the reception who said that it's probably because it was after 'working hours', which it was indeed, clearly stipulated that the sauna opens at 4 PM until 11 PM and I tried maybe a bit later to access it (think it was ~11:10 or something like this). I figured okay, sure, not a problem, will try again next day, which I did, within the working hours this time. No luck this time either, pressing the water button did nothing. Again, went to the reception, told them a drawn out story, concluding with the fact that that specific amenity is not working as it should. The staff said they will have someone look into it but did not mention a specific timeframe in which the issue would be fixed. I tried accessing the sauna one final time on Thursday night, no luck, water button still not working, at which point I gave up on the idea of having a proper sauna. While I don't know if such a technical malfunction did require more than 2 days to get fixed, what I can tell you is that, in the future, you will probably deal with customers with a lot less patience / less understanding than me, who will take it as a personal offense that their complaint was not fixed during their stay and (most likely) will try to escalate this further up the chain of command. that was all I had on my plate, sorry for the text wall - wishing you a good day ahead and some decent/peaceful Easter holidays!

I am going to cut to the chase with positives and negatives of this hotel, it’s mostly positives. Positives: Friendly, helpful staff It seemed to be newly renovated so the bar/restaurant area is very nice, clean and modern. The food we had in the bar area was excellent and surprisingly good value for money considering it was a hotel. Breakfast was very good, although as is the case with most hotels - pricey. Good location - 10 mins walk to the S Bahn station and only a 25-30 min walk to the centre of Munich. There are a few nice restaurants nearby and a shopping centre close-by. Room was nice and quiet. Negatives: The bed was not very comfortable, didn’t like the memory foam mattress although some might like it. Air con did not seem to work (and we were in the newer, recently renovated part of the hotel) and even trying to alter the temperature to its lowest level it was far too warm. The air con system was quite noisy too, which did not bother us too much but it might put some off. Overall a decent stay but the issues with the rooms let it down slightly.
