1. When I open the door of my room I can see directly the bed there is not small hall as usually in the room so I have the light of the corridor all the night as this was in front of me. 2. There is not power connection close to the bed so I have to charge my phone very away from me when I usually use as alarm to wake up. 3. The room was cold and tried to turn up the heater and didn't work. It was cold all the night. 4. When I did my check out the receptionist promise to send my invoice to my email & I never receive it so I need to call again to have my invoice. In general works experience I will never stay again in this hotel & I will never recommend it. I will include these notes to all my colleagues that they won't experience my bad experience.

Very central position in London. Allocated an excellent room on first floor. Spacious with views to street. Welcome drinks delivered for Silver card members without prompt. Desk staff and lobby assistance excellent. Facility to leave luggage a bonus. A good choice of restaurants nearby.

Staying for an extended period of time, and thought that since was an ALL Accor property, that it would be at least a 4-star property with exceptional service. Staff were not very helpful except for main bellman who always had a smile. Upon arrival, stall odour in room and sheets were dirty. Requested room upgrade or change, apparently I was in an upgraded room and it took them forever to change the sheets. Housekeeping thought I was mad for asking them to change sheets. Carpet not vacuumed prior to arrival. A colleague who accompanied me found black mould in his bathroom and the staff was hesitant to move him or cancel his reservation so he could change hotels. No Accor member perks extended other than welcome drink. My "upgrade" was to a room with a so-called king bed, but it was in the same size room so the bed took up the entire room. It was actually two twins pushed together but there was a gap between the bed so you sink into the middle. Very uncomfortable, the staff wasn't helpful in amending that (change room, keep beds pushed together, etc). The room never felt clean, wifi always dropped off, room service added extra delivery charges for items they forgot to send up with initial order ... just felt like I overpaid for this hotel and staff didn't care less about it.

I arrived off a 30 hour flight, and woke up in the morning to cold water at 6am. I had to get to a meeting so had to deal with it, but spoke to management later. They promptly sent someone to look at the issue, who told me it was resolved. The next morning at 6am I had the same problem. I called reception and switched rooms. The same problem. I returned at 11am to hot water. This hotel appears not to have hot hot water at 6am on the 6th floor. Not what one would expect for a 4 star accor hotel. I was very disappointed and this caused me to lose trust in the brand. I emailed to explain my issue following my stay and have received no response.

Hotel is well located and staff are friendly and efficient. Room was nice if a little small. It was a nice touch to give us some snacks and drinks when we arrived. The room had all the facilities we needed including iron/ironing board as well as tea/coffee making facilities.

Despite online check-in prior to arrival I was unable to pick up my room key due to staff shortages on reception. The triple room was smaller than advertised. The room was set up for only two guests despite the extra bed being squeezed in. Only two glasses, only two cups and only two sets of towels. I rang for extra towels which arrived. The cups and glasses never arrived. Due to the room having 5 ill fitted seals on the windows we were unable to sleep. I was aware of the storm. The staff were not interested in looking for an alternative room. Other guests commented on their rooms being OK due to being away from the front of the hotel. The only positive was the staff at breakfast.

Generally good stay with a few minor issues. We booked 2 rooms and only one had a coffee making machine in it. Also the cleaner flused a tea bag down the toilet which took multiple flushed to then clear it.

The check-in was below expectation. The receptionist was very confused and took him quite some time until I was able to have my room key. The room was very small! The smallest I have ever be in a Mercure Hotels! Very disappointed. The breakfast was ok, missing vegetables and more fruits. The cleaning was very good. The checkout was also a problem, the information I have asked to fill in during the checkin was not done and the receptionist had to redo my invoice. In general it was below the level that I had from previous experience from Mercury.

On the + side: I really appreciated that the morning staff did a great job and helped me with an early check-in (9am). AMercure London provides a nice healthy breakfast, but I would have liked more fresh fruit (vs canned). Eggs, sausage, breads and coffee all were done well. And a shout-out to Robert (maitre'd from Chicago), who made me feel right at home. The Italian restaurant attached was surprisingly good. On the - side: The single room was incredible small - as was the bathroom - with tight quarters all around. I would have opted for a smaller (single) bed, vs the double I ended up with - to have a bit more room. And could not figure out how to turn on the in-room heater...just a minor inconvenience.
