T6713IZmarting Business - TripAdvisor review

A central London hotel that won't burst the bank. Rooms are small and functional, but clean (although I didn't like thevtiny awkward shower space) - bar is ok, and I skipped breakfast as I was om business and needed to get going. But the area around the hotel is busy and energetic. Plenty of choices for dining. Staff were nice, like I say pretty functional place but in a great location. Would stay again.

Good stay. Room on the small side but it is London I suppose. Room defects. Water damage to the bathroom door.

Centrally located with underground ( 5 min walk ) and bus stop right in front of the hotel. Stayed in 4th floor , 403, family room was huge and clean. Love the availability to extend stay till 6pm ( extra charge ) as my flight was at night Only issue was the shower needed to be fixed.

Tired room, and problem not fixed despite repeated requests

The room we were given was not what we expected for the grade of hotel. In addition, there were some very bright blue lights that stayed on on permanently throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. We asked several times at reception and got different answers. One said they could be turned off, but didn't provide any help, another said they would send someone to turn them off, again, no one came, then A. third person said they had to stay on for "health and safety" reasons, but could not, or would not elaborate on that explanation. Finally, when checking out the gentleman at the front desk said that they could "100%" be turned off. In summary, we spent two nights in A. very tired room with lights on that we couldn't turn off, keeping the room bright permanently. Not the standard of accommodation or service that I have had before when staying at A. Mercure
