The hotel was looking tired, and my allocated room below standard

Convenient location, recently refurbished rooms but uncomfortable due to poor A/C

Good location a short walk from Euston making it convenient for those arriving through Euston station. Room was clean and appeared to have been recently refurbished and addition of a Nespresso machine is a nice touch. I stayed in a single room which as not overly cramped. Unfortunately the A/C is extremely temperamental and despite setting to cool mode, it would revert to heat after 20-30 mins making the room unbearable to sleep. I tried opening the windows but being in central London it is quite noisy (fine with windows closed though) and so I had to close them again. Communal areas of the hotel also seemed very warm. Breakfast offering is OK with a selection of hot and cold options, but the layout of the breakfast room could be better to help it flow.

I've been a regular visitor for business to this hotel due to convenient location close to my business partners and close to most key venue locations in central London. The hotel does a great job at guests profiling and accommodates my travel preferences (early check in, room assignment, etc.) without having to ask which makes the experience extremely smooth.
