Theatre visit by friends February ‚26

A delight to be able to park in the secure underground parking with direct access to the hotel foyer by a lift. The entrance admittedly had a slightly strange smell for it being so clean , minimalist and modern. Friendly, helpful and cheerful Front of House staff. We had a family room with king size double bed plus two single beds, which were almost together, space around them being tight. Clean toilet and separate bathroom with shower. We found this a slightly unusual setup but it did work well. Great Fitness Suite on 6th floor which has a sauna and steam room, shower, DDA compliant WC / Changing room, could do with a bench in there to assist changing. A plentiful supply of towels in the sauna lobby. Location is good for our purpose of visiting the theatre. We didn’t eat in the hotel, there are many restaurants close by. Verdict is we will most likely stay here for our next theatre show.

Me and my partner booked for a night away. I saw a lot of just eat and deliveroo bikes outside the hotel. I asked the hotel staff wow is this hotel open to the public? As there is quite Afew of these bikes outside. The man on reception said no they are student bikes. I wasn’t convinced. There was a man that came into the lift with a massive bump on his head he didn’t look right. We checked online and found out the home office uses this hotel. We past another heading to the Suna and steam room. Both the booking agent and hotel didn’t inform us that Asylum seekers get temporary accommodation at this hotel. It would have been useful as we can have the choice to stay there or not. I wouldn’t recommend young ladies or vulnerable people to stay at this hotel.
