Went to reception to get checked in and find out parking details as we had requested these when booking. Went to park car and realised we couldn’t fit - we hadn’t been informed of a height restriction, on going out to the car I realised we also hadn’t been given our key cards to get up to room so back to reception to be told that there was a 2m restriction in the whole city (we are not from Wellington so weren’t aware of this) so had to park on street - meant we were up early to sort parking/ ended up leaving earlier then we had planned for. So unfortunately our stay ended up being a little disappointing. At least I know for next time to ask about height restrictions, we were refunded parking as we didn’t end up using. Room was clean and comfortable!

Booking was easy. Confirmation was accurate. Contact was made to check on the number of beds needed and a change (upgrade?) was effected. Parking was great. e-check in was good. Physical check in was early. A different room was allocated at that time. Food and service in the restaurant and bar was great. Other people on our floor were extremely noisy in the late hours of the night and in the morning when they left. (Rebels gang). Check out was smooth.

I stayed at Ibis Wellington for two nights so I could enjoy Wellington's fun and entertainment. Able to walk everywhere from my hotel I enjoyed all I wanted to do. The Ibis was very clean and the staff were outstanding.

Excellent stay at this great hotel. I used some points so the room was at a good price. I received a very much appreciated upgrade which was a nice surprise. I also ordered a dinner which I took to my room to eat - it was a superb meal. Check in and check out simple, quick and easy.

I was travelling to Wellington for a wedding being held in the CBD. The Ibis was perfectly located walking distance to shops and the venue. It was great to be able to be located in the middle of so many options for food and shopping as I do not know Wellington but everything was on my doorstep!

I came to stay for work related purposes (earlier this week) - I had previously reserved a room with a King bed, however wanted to change bed setup to 2x singles as had a family member coming unexpectedly that day- therefore I phoned your hotel earlier that day TWICE for the beds to be split and to singles be made up.... BOTH times I was reassured this was being catered for, at no extra cost. On arrival 6pm (ish) the King Bed was still in 1 piece - THis upset me as I had phoned twice earlier that morning. However (Michael) from reception gracefully helped out. He said that the girl who took my calls was new .... Now, although this may have been true - this tells me that the /new girl' didnt know the procedure for such a request. I would like to suggest that she be trained as this didn't seem like an unusual request and although I was annoyed, other guests may not have been so understable in this situation. I would appreciate a reply to this feedback so I can be reassured that your hotel is able to be flexible with guests requests. I would like to continue to recommend the IBIS wellington to friends - however I am considering seeking lodgings elsewhere....signed A not so happy customer

Easy to check in with "Online Check-in" . Nice staff and welling to assist you. Secured car parking and access to lifts. Bar was a great place to meet before heading out. Rooms comfortable.
