I was so tired after a long flight that I was looking for nothing but jumping into bed so I appreciated easy shuttle from the airport, quick check in, friendly staff and comfortable bed. In the morning I had the same experience like in the evening, perfect and efficient service. Rich breakfast with a big choice was more than I expected. I can recommend and will for sure come back by any layover in Frankfurt.

I was stuck in Frankfurt overnight as my I missed my connecting flight due to poor weather conditions. Lufthansa cover hotel/meal expenses up to a ceiling and I need to provide an invoice of expenses. I stayed in Ibis Frankfurt Airport hotel but was told when I payed that their "system was down" and they could not not give me an invoice that day. This was on 4/12/23. I have been calling regularly since, to ask for one. Either nobody answers the phone, or the receptionist who sometimes answers speaks very little English, just enough to say that the system is still down and she cannot help. Really?? I cannot claim reimbursement from Lufthansa until I have an invoice. Today is the 18/12! seriously??

Decent stay. For these prices, I would recommend and prefer Mercure Hotels. The rooms are congested with extremely narrow passages. The toilet is badly designed, cleanliness and maintenance is average. I would definitely not recommend this hotel and instead prefer mercure for next time onwards.
