We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at NOVOTEL ! This hidden gem exceeded our expectations in every way. Accommodations: Clean, well-maintained rooms with daily housekeeping ensured a comfortable stay. Amenities: - Two large pools and a children's pool provided endless relaxation and fun. - Private beach access offered serene sunbathing and swimming. - Friendly, helpful, and polite staff made us feel welcome. Dining: Our breakfast-only package was more than sufficient, with varied, tasty, and fresh options served buffet-style Location: Conveniently situated near restaurants, street food options, and shops. Staff nya sangat ramah, mulai dari reception, pada saat breakfast dan security. Awalnya dikasih kamar connecting, suara kamar tetangga bisa terdenag ke kamar kita. Ketika minta pindah kamar langsung di fasilitasi. All good. Makanan enak. Saran saya menu sarapan nya harap lebih variasi. Misal hari ini soto ayam besok ganti soto daging atau menu berkuah lainnya. Dan Untuk alat masak telur dadar (scoop dan wajan) harap dipisah antara yang mengandung babi dan yang tidak, untuk mengakomidir kebutuhan tamu muslim.

Relaxing and a great hotel

What a great resort. I was a bit hesitate to stay after a bad review recently. BUT.....let me tell you I was very happy to stay here. Sure there is a road separating the hotel and yes we were staying across the road but my room was comfortable and clean. The air con was great and the staff fabulous. Towels were not threadbare or grey. Bed was king size and there was a great shower. There are 3 pools. The main on the beach, the one on the other side of road and a kids pool. All clean and beach towels were available from 8am. The pool food was basic but tasty and the breakfast was varied and tasty. There is not much shopping around but there is a shuttle bus which is free to Bali Collection and we hired a driver to take us to Sanur for 4hrs which was $50. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel and thank you to Devi and staff for a great experience Sue Room 537

Beautiful Hotel with excellent friendly staff. From early morning til late evening they're always smiling ^ can't do enough for you. Stayed five nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Devi one of the hospitality managers was superb with her service during a trying time when ONE of the pools was undergoing renovations by providing FREE drinks & nibbles each afternoon. A thoroughly enjoyable BALI experience. Will def be back

We stayed at the Novotel Bali Benoa late October. Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly Reception Staff who were very helpful, and made us feel welcome. As our room wasn't ready, we enjoyed a couple of beverages at Cocos Restaurant & Bar, and took in the view. Overall the service was good. When checking into our room, we noticed that the room seemed warm, but put it down to the air-conditioning only being turned on prior to our arrival. However, we were wrong. That night, my wife and I were subjected to the noisiest and least efficient Air-Conditioner we have ever experienced in our many years of travel. The noise could only be described as an aeroplane engine speeding up and slowing down, while the overhead fan squeaked persistently with every rotation. On our way to breakfast we were asked by Reception how our first night was, I explained that we probably got 2 hours sleep, due to the noisy Air-Conditioner, I was assured that the matter would be taken care of. Unfortunately by the end of the day, there was zero feedback as to what had been done, if at all, or was being done about the noisy Air-Con, or what options were available i.e. there was no offer to change rooms, nothing. As a result, we put up with the noise for the remainder of our five night stay. The room cleaning was also hit and miss, for example tea and coffee was not replenished daily and the same can be said for the glasses. I had to ask the room cleaner to remember to do it, when we crossed paths in the corridor. On a positive note the breakfast buffet was plentiful, with a reasonable array to choose from. The highlight of our five night stay was the lady at the egg station (we think her name was Sukasedana) she was excellent, she was efficient, happy to be there, interactive, and very friendly. On checking out we were asked by one of the Hotel Managers (Devi), how we enjoyed our stay, I explained our thoughts on their handling, or lack of handling of the reported Air-Conditioner issue , and was given the standard line of "we are so sorry let us make it up to you next time", however, for that to happen there has to be a next time. To sum our stay, at the Novotel Bali Benoa, the term "let down" comes to mind. Final thought, maybe instead of investing as heavily in the swimming pool renovations, Novotel could have spent some of their budget on upgrading the Air-Conditioning, to ensure a enjoyable hotel experience during the day and night.
