I used to bring my children stayed here 15 years ago. At that time I already liked Novotel brand that was dedicated for families. I remembered was given free extra bed and breakfast with lots of kids menu for my kids. This time I stayed here again due to the price that they offered so attractive. And turned out that staying here was exceeded my expectation. Well preserved villa next to ocean, and nice staffs are things that I most appreciated. So serene, because only 2 or 3 rooms occupied during this terrible COVID-19 pandemic. They followed the rules to contain spreading of the virus, so I felt safe. Thank you

at first we were upgraded to the XXX room from our initial order at Tropical Room. Unfortunately the room was very dirty, with lots of insects and sand on the floor. The outdoor bathtub was not managed at all, covered in green moss and leaves and dead insects. It was horrible that we decided to downgrade back to our Tropical Room. Overall the Tropical room seemed cleaner and more modern. The bathtub is indoor so it's more well maintained. However, one night we decided to ask for a mosquito spray in our room and more than 20 cockroaches appear everywhere. we called the cleaning service immediately but it took them more than 30mins to come with a broom to clean the cockroaches. we played pool at their common area which was probably untouched for sometime, wasn't cleaned and spider webs are everywhere. other than cleanliness issue, we like how friendly the staffs are and how they are always willing to help. the hotel also has good foods! hats off to the chef. location is okay as it is near the beach, where they provide free canoe facilities and ping pong table by the pool for in house guests.

Nice hotel with private beach, coean room and friendly staff, good facilities at hotel, nice place for kidz to play at sand and pool, little bit mosquito due to wet season but in general all is wonderfull

Being stayed here during the pandemic, i only saw 1 other travellers beside us. One thing i note, there were lack of facilities for guests, like toothbrush, bottled water, tea and coffee. So they told us to "ask" everytime we needs them. We felt quite disappointed, last night before we stayed at 3 star and 5 star hotel, in Kuta and in Nusa Dua, we did not encountered this. I think basic amenities MUST be provided at the room, NO EXCEPTIONS, NO EXCUSES. I can not accept excuses because of pandemic, etc, because other hotels, Accor Hotels or the other brand hotels did not do this. So, in the end, i did not "ask" for the basic amenities, we are not beggars asking for something, it is our right. I remember asking bottled water because it is quite hot, and after exploring the beach and pool, we asked for 4 bottled water, it took them long enough until i had to call again, and in the end, they only bring us 2. Okay, NOTED. When we enjoyed our time in the pool, maybe there were lack of duties for the employee, they watched us, i know the pools quite deep, above 1.8 meters, but we felt less privacy when enjoying a 5 star hotel pool. All in all, this hotel needs improvement in service area. When it is pandemic, hotels should appreciate guests more, not reducing their service.

A had a really nice stay. Great package deal for a few nights and then added a couple of extra nights, I had to change rooms due to separate bookings. The property is a bit tired but the location is good.

The rooms were smaller than expected or experienced at other Novotels. When I asked the pool attendant for the first for towels, he pointed to an area instead of providing any towels, and then after getting the towels, where I could get the safety vests, he again pointed me to another area, as if it was self-service, yet he went & got towels for European & American guests! I was shocked at the level of discrimination, to say the least... Also, had to ask again & again for room to be sprayed, as there were many mosquitoes.

Disappointing stay at the Novotel Bali Benoa

This was our 3rd time staying at the Novotel Bali Benoa in a beach Cabana over a period of approximately 20 years and during that time We think that the only thing that has been updated in the beach Cabana is the bed. We believe that the whole property looks very tied and has not been renovated. The holiday did not start off very well as our booked airport transfer did not happen. The duty manager was very apologetic and gave us free airport transfer back to the airport and my wife a free facial, which was appreciated. The My Drink package is a total waste of money when you consider the limited choices and the quality of the beverages offered including the coffee. We had 8 coupons and after we used 2 we requested that the value be refunded to be used at the hotel for expenses incurred the amount was 1,680,000 IDR. We also believed that the breakfast selection was average, when compared with similar hotel star ratings. We had to continually request that the waiters to remove the used plates. They walk around to try to look busy, but they do not see. They are not motivated. The noise of the air conditioner fan is very loud. you cannot turn it down when trying to sleep. In closing we were very disappointed with our week stay at the Novotel Bali Benoa. C On the last night of our stay we dined at Coco’s restaurant where both my wife’s and my order were taken. Mine was the only meal to be served. We had to wait another 15 to 20 minutes for my wife’s dinner to arrive. Upon checkout the 1,680,000 that was to be credit to our house account was not there and an annoying conversation was required to rectify the problem. onsidering what it cost us we do not believe that it was value for the money that we were charged. We WILL NOT be staying there again.

Hello ,we have just returned from our holiday and I would like to make some comments on our stay at Novotel Bali Benoa , We got picked up from the airport by the transport arranged by the Hotel .What a joke The driver was all over the road drove at 40klm per hour the whole way ,it took us so long to get there and mind you this was at midnight .very scary .when we arrived at the Hotel we were greeted and shown the arrival desk sat down I had already done check in on the net which told me room key and everything would be ready ,but no we waited for nearly 45 mins whilst the gentleman worked it all out then we got shown to our room which was meant to be poolside room but no we had to go upstairs which due to my really bad knees wasn't good that is why we booked poolside ,the porter opened the door with the key and there was people already in there asleep so hey wrong room which I did say to the man at the desk that the paperwork said 568 but no he checked us in and gave us 468 and said no no its 468 ok well clearly not 468 feeling very uncomfortable at this point interrupting other people ,any way back to the desk ,then got room 568 walk all the way to the other side up stairs again and I questioned again hello it meant to be pool side anyway 1 hour later we got in the room and then there was heaps of bugs on the bed .The next morning we had Breakfast then said we can not stay in the room as (1) it is upstairs and it not what we booked. anyway they finally moved us later in the day to a ground level room far from the pool ,with initially a horrible paint fume smell .then for the next 3 days had to put up with a noisy clunky air conditioner that they wouldn't fix .the bed felt like concrete was very hard waking up sore every day .Overall very bad experience ,would never recommend However the food was ok but not a lot of choice for children .

Great location quite but close to everything if you don't mind walking. Food and service is always great. Especially breakfast if you like omelettes. Don't 4get to ask for Mrs Omelette alway up for a chat while cooking for you. Will return over X-mas again in 2020.

Three times visit this resort and it still have same good atmosphere. This resort is kids friendly. Many activities by kids club and it is free. Nice hospitality by all staff. Everytime I met them, they always smile and say hi. There are many facilities in this resort, especially water sport. You can free to use kayak. This is one of my favorite.

Our third stay at this hotel and all in all was a good, relaxing time. Just one or two little things which would have enhanced our stay even more: No bourbon whiskey ! We've heard of the pub with no beer, but a resort with no bourbon?! Very disappointing when you don't drink beer or cocktails so our sunset drinks on the beach weren't as enjoyable as they could have been. The ceiling fans in both rooms we stayed in were covered with dirt and dust and needed a good clean. Teabags and sugar were not replenished in the room so we took them from the restaurant at breakfast time. the resort is lovely, the gardens and pools are well kept and the staff are very friendly and helpful

We had a short stay at the Novotel Benoa before joining a cruise. It's a long way from the major tourist sites, but it is ideal as a place for relaxation. Nice design, large rooms, good hot water, superior breakfast buffet.

This is the second time we have stayed at this resort. We stayed in a Beach Cabana with outdoor bathtub. From the moment we entered until the time we left the customer service was amazing, staff are so friendly and helpful. While the rooms aren't 5 star they definitely suited us with everything we needed and had the pool out front with the beach and Cocos Restaurant a few more steps . We were provided with 2 small bottles of water each day and walked the few metres up the road to the shop for more. We had a special package that included full buffet breakfast and also a 2 course lunch which we chose from a menu board. My husband usually ate starter and main while I had main and dessert (OMG the desserts were to die for , I couldn't choose a favourite, all were delicious!! ) This place is fantastic quiet part of Bali, there are a few market shops, convenience stores , bars and restaurants , starbucks and money changers but apart from that it is a fairly laid back place compared to Kuta. If we wanted to go into Kuta or a day trip we used the hotels private drivers to take us for an agreed amount and hotel staff told the drivers what we wanted. We will definitely stay here again.

First time to Novotel Bali Benoa. We opted for the All Inclusive package for the two adults and purchased the My Kids Package for our boys. As a Silver Le Club member, it was disappointing to wait so long (nearly an hour) to be checked in. Our room (Tropical Terrace 228) was ok but a little dated and not the cleanest. The toilet walls were opaque glass and had never been wiped. Yuck! Rest of the room was ok. The complex itself is small but adequate however the pool was freezing. The food was good but their servings from the carvery were very small and often the hot dishes were empty. The staff were great and very accommodating. Overall fine but won't be our first choice next time.

The hotel website should give the floor plan, as most rooms are across the road from the main hotel. Otherwise the vacation at the hotel was very good ! The staff really make a huge impact with the eager friendly & prompt attention..

Great hotel with excellent features and staff. Location is good with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, however if you are after a lively party place look elsewhere. The facilities are well used but all are being upgraded.
