After a night at the Nacar I moved to the Santa Clara. Like going from a motel 1 to a 5 star hotel Food is a highlight of the hotel- breakfast could easily hold you over until the evening. Great fresh dishes and amazing selection of tropical fruits. Would love to see the return of the steak sandwich at the pool Rooms are a decent size - well appointed w a Bose radio and excellent TV. I was given a room on the top floor 516. It has a terrace rather than a balcony. Challenge is there is no shade during the day Staff excel- love the uniforms and how nice everyone including maintenance staff are. Jorge was our server at breakfast and made it feel really personalized. Knew our preferences after the first day Pool is the largest in the walled city and is always lovely and warm. Will definitely be back in October for a sixth stay

we loved the Santa Clara so much! The pool was fun, the breakfast buffet was delicious, dining in the jardin restaurant was incredible and felt like I was dining in a rainforest, the staff was incredible and professional, and our lunches and dinners were so good we hardly wanted to leave the premises! Beds were comfy. Thanks for such an amazing stay!

Our stay at Sofitel Legend Santa Clara far exceeded our expectations - from the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such amazing hospitality and felt at peace. This was our first time to Cartagena, and I would 200% come back just to experience Sofitel again. Our room was spacious, clean and gave the Colombian culture feel while still being modern. The pool was our favorite place to lay every afternoon. The service was top notch around the pool too, bringing us new drinks as soon as we were close to empty, and offering us cold towels/snacks every hour. The food was EXCEPTIONAL - every meal we had was better than the last, and we didn't think that was possible. The breakfast was the best selection I have ever seen, with fresh fruits, breads and egg dishes rotating constantly. Our room was always cleaned when we got back to it, and the turn down system was right on time every night - ensuring we had clean towels and water every time. We were celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary, and the staff surprised us with a beautiful dessert plate upon arrival in our room. The small details were everything here - and we can't wait to come back someday! Thank you Sofitel Legend Santa Clara, for an experience of a lifetime.
