Otelinize 3 defa geldik.Otelin konumu ve hismetleri güzel ,yalnız kaldığımız oda 514 Asansör 'ün tam yanında olduğu için ,geceleri asansörden çok ses geliyordu.Bu konu bizi biraz rahatsız etti ve şikayetimizi Resepsiyon'la paylaştık.

Central location, a bit tired

Pros: - very central, easy to get public transport from airport & also around Geneva. Only 10mins walk to old town - public transport card included in hotel price, sent 1 day before arrival to register. - lovely staff - hot food at breakfast was very tasty -plenty of towels & pillows in room - large room, had a classic & was large enough it could fit two people comfortably Cons: - room is becoming tired. The furniture had scuff marks, the headboard was peeling. Bed was very creaky, some marks on the walls. - awkward shower. Over a bath, with more than half the bath behind a wall. Bath was very high (and I’m tall) so was hard to get in & out. The glass door for shower was on the 1 wall you could lean against so ending up holding onto towel shelf. A handrail would be good to steady yourself especially when wet. The toiletries were also very low on the wall so had to bend a lot to get them. - breakfast if not in your room price is CHF 19 continental & CHF37 for hot food. Continental wasn’t large choice, hot food had to be ordered so for the price would have expected more. I had in my price, if not I would have gone to one of the many cafes close by. Overall I really liked the hotel due to its location but for the price you pay I’d expect the rooms to not look so tired.

Small and a little old fashioned hotel where the rooms could use some updating but overall good stay. Nice bar with friendly staff and good drinks with note that Swiss prices are high. Breakfast is very good and high end with tasty food and pleasant layout. Bed was good and bathroom is small but shower was great. Some construction outside so can be noisy. Very good location easy to station and lake with a lot of restaurants close by.

Friendly, cosy and luxurious

We had a lovely stay here. The room was clean, felt luxurious and I loved the quirky features. The shower was very powerful which was a bonus. Staff were friendly, especially the woman behind the bar. We didn't have breakfast as the hotel is well located with cafes on the surrounding streets and the waterside is only a street away.

Perfectly Located Luxury Hotel

We booked a two-night stay at The Hotel Rotary, as we wanted centrally located accommodation for a weekend break exploring Geneva. Having undertaken a great deal of research, we opted for this hotel and reserved a split-level duplex suite. We got a great rate booking through the hotel's own website, which was significantly cheaper than the well-known booking platforms. A week or so prior to check-in we were emailed free travel passes from Geneva's tourism agency (covering train, tram, bus and river-boat connections) throughout the City. An excellent perk available for those booking most mainstream hotels. We arrived at Geneva Airport and used our travel passes to take the 8 minute train journey to the central station. The Hotel Rotary was just a few minutes walk from there, just down a side street from the main Boulevard. Externally, the hotel presents as a smart building, with entrance flanked by potted conifer trees. On entering the airy and beautifully furnished lobby we were warmly greeted, efficiently checked-in and took one of the lifts up to the top floor, where our suite was located. We entered our suite, walking into it's split level bedroom area, with dressing room (with ample hanging-space, digital safe and iron/ironing board) to the left. We took a step up into the delightful double bedroom, which had large velux-style sloping windows, with a view over rooftops to the famous water-fountain on Lake Geneve. The bed was extremely comfortable, with quality bed-linens, fluffy pillows and scatter cushions. There was a chest of drawers, coffee table, bedside tables and large flat-screen TV. The ensuite bathroom had an over-bath shower, washbasin, wc and good quality toiletries along with bathrobes and slippers. Climbing a staircase from the bedroom took us to our suite's mezzanine sitting-room, constructed on a gallery overlooking the bedroom. The sitting room was equipped with sofa, desk, chair and another large flat-screen TV. There were a good number of table lamps, standard lamps and reading lights dotted around the suite which enabled a number of attractive lighting effects to be created. The suite was equipped with aircon unit. The hotel was spotlessly clean, with immaculate housekeeping throughout. The hotel is a block or so from Lake Geneva. There are a number of restaurants and tram-stops nearby, but most City centre sights within comfortable walking distance. Using our free travel passes, we took the tram to the CERN visitor centre, the Diplomatic quarter and the quaint suburb of Carouge. We also took one of the frequent buses (20 minutes journey) to Saleve, where you can walk across the border into France and take the cable-car up to admire the views of the City from Mont Saleve. We had also booked a 1 hr sightseeing cruise on Lake Geneva a month or so prior to arrival (because they sell out quickly). This short cruise gave great close-ups of the famous fountain and fantastic vistas of the City and its environs. Longer cruise options to Lausanne are also available. A wonderful hotel, perfectly located in central Geneva with luxury facilities, friendly staff and great facilities.
