I have lengthy visits to Geneva year round and choose to stay at Hotel Rotary. The service is always friendly and efficient, the location is excellent and the rooms are comfortable. I am a loyal client at this property.

Super start of the honeymoon

We stayed here for one night as a stop before going to the French Riviera on honeymoon. The staff was so kind and gave us the best honeymoonsuite with a trail of rose pettals, a glass of excellent wine, great service and a superb breakfast. We will be back!

No criticism of what is a competent city centre hotel. It is well positioned and offers valet parking. Good breakfast; professional but detached staff; comfortable room. A fully functional business hotel but absolutely no character. Prices are no more ridiculous than the rest of Geneva: Chf35 per person for breakfast is bordering upon the insane but that’s life! If price is not a major issue, it is recommended.

We had a really good experiance with the hotel. Staff was friendly, the room was clean. The breakfast was fine, but would be better if there's some salad or vegetable and more choice of bread. We will stay here again if we come to geneva!

Well located and reasonable breakfast - but really nothing to get very excited about. The front desk are rather officious rather than friendly. We were in a room on the 4th floor of the old building at the back. The lift was tiny and the decor, like all these MGallery hotels, was just a bit all over the place. They try to do shabby chic and come over as sleeping in your great grandmothers bedroom. The bathroom was a little dated and for some unknown the reason the restaurant was closed for dinner - and as everyone knows - Geneva closes at about 9pm - so we had to rush to an overpriced tourist trap. Breakfast was fine - and to be honest, the less time spent in Geneva is always a good thing so we were out by 9am - the only other gripe was asking for a taxi for my wife to Montreux as she had mobility issues and couldn’t take the train. The front desk get me a taxi for 400CHF which I was about to book before I checked Uber and got one for 200CHF.

Each hotel of the MGallery collection has its own personality and its own history. I am sorry that you did not like the style and the decoration of your room. You are right the elevator of the historical building is a bit smaller than the ones of the main building. There are actually only 3 rooms per floor in this building. Our restaurant it closed on weekends as well as on public holidays as mentioned on our website. Our hotel is located in the city center near the lake. Next time please do not hesitate to ask to the front desk in you need any recommendation for a restaurant located within walking distance. We remain at your disposal 24/7. We work with the main professional taxi companies in Geneva and they cannot compete with the prices of Uber drivers.
