Lovely hotel and great staff. Excellent location and clean, comfortable rooms. Garden was a huge plus point. Breakfast not a huge selection for the cost. Only real negative was that our rooms were located near the service lift and room service plates and leftovers were consistently left on a trolley there for 24 hours or more and caused a smell.

the hotel is very conveniently located - opposite the station. It has a lovely garden, ideal to recover from a day's walking around the city centre. I had booked a garden view room but my room on the 7th floor did not look over a garden. It was also incredibly warm in the room. The heating / airconditioning unit was not properly fixed to the wall and when I reported this the next morning and asked about airconditioning, I was told that they don't turn the airconditioning on until a certain date and that they would look into the unit.They never fixed the unit during my stay. It was so hot in the room that I had to sleep with the balcony door open which was not ideal because of noise of a nearby bar/restaurant. The other thing that prevented a restful sleep was the mattress which was far too firm for my liking. Probably great for heavy people but if you are a light-weight you end up aching. The room I stayed in was spacious and nicely decorated and the bathroom was excellent with plenty of towels. I indicated that I wanted to re-use my towels but they provided fresh ones each day - not environmentally friendly. I appreciated the nesrpresso machine and the free bottle of water for coffee/tea. The free minibar is a great idea but I would have liked some non-sugary drinks in there and perhaps a can of beer - not everyone likes Prosecco. The wifi signal in my room was pretty rubbish. I could only use one device at a time.

Hotel situated near the station. Hotel receptionist was helpful when I requested for an ice pack. Room was clean. However I place my UK Oyster travel card in the key slot to keep the room electricity while we were out. When we returned to the room, my Oyster was removed and i couldn’t find it in the room. Also milk wasn’t refill.
