Mercure Lyon Centre Château Perrache hotel

It has very good locatio in train station but it is little bit hard to find parking place. Parking place was fully booked and trafftic near hotel was very complicated. Except this parking, other thing was very nice and comfortable to stay

One night stopover in Lyon. Hotel was clean, quiet and lovely

Beautiful building situated close to Old Lyon and train station. Staff at reception were young and did not seem experienced or knowledgeable for a four star hotel. We were checked into a lovely corner room with a note welcoming a different customer. Only one robe, one set of towels and the sofa bed not made up for my daughter as was requested on my booking for three people. It was strange because I received an email earlier in the day saying my room was ready when this was clearly not my room. The front desk staff said they’d check and then made up the bed. No other robe, set of towels, or treat offered for the error. They did not seem worried about customer service. Very blasé welcome for platinum level all acor status. When asked, your reception staff suggested we eat supper at a terasse overlooking the second river located at Confluence, which was basically a food court. Not our idea of eating in Lyon and a very poor recommendation for guests staying at a four star hotel. Disappointing. They also could have told us about the tram instead of suggesting a 15 minute walk which was really a 30 minute walk. Not good customer service at all. Impossible to get a taxi in this city and so again, mentioning the tram would’ve been helpful as we discovered it on the last night. The room was clean. The breakfast was good each morning.

Everything was great and thanks to all staff. Great location, great room.
