V Families - Confirmed reviews ALL

So, from start to Finish… At check-in, the staff confused a debit card with a Credit card and debited an additional fee instead of booking a warranty - Desperately tried to have my argument through, but, it was in vain. Luggages were not brought to the room as the concierge or any one supposed assign to this duty couldn’t do it for us, though, the “some other customers” did have the service. Spent the next three days chasing the reimbursement without much success. Had some laundry done and asked for the clothes to be dropped in the room; close to 48 hours later the clothes were still not back - So, I went and check on it only to learn that it had been sitting at the reception for the whole day. On our last day, shower gel was out as it had not been replenished ages before we even went in the room - The bottle was less than a 1/5 filled. Cherry on the cake, at checkout I was told that the payment was not done and that I had to pay again as they couldn’t retrieve any payment and were being denied to book it on the Credit card; After some heated argument, they finally waived it off and claim that they would be deducting the payment or send and invoice for some service that was already settled in advance. One of the worst Hotel experiences I made in my 50+ hotels visited so far!

Please accept my apologies for the confusion and inconvenience caused at check-in regarding your debit card and the additional fee. I understand how frustrating this must have been and I am sorry that your concerns were not resolved promptly. I am also very sorry that our service fell short both in handling your luggage and providing consistent support throughout your stay. Regarding the oversight with your laundry as well as the lack of replenishment for basic amenities I can assure you that this does not reflect the level of care and attention we strive to offer our guests. Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience. Your experience is far from the service we aim to deliver. Please be assured that your feedback has been shared with the relevant teams to address the issues and implement measures to prevent such occurrences in the future. It would mean a great deal to us if you would allow us the opportunity to restore your trust. The transfer at the airport never arrived

It was our second time at this hotel. We came back because of the position, the breakfast, the room. And also this second experience, by this point of view, was great. But there was an unpleasant unconvenient. We waited almost an hour at the airport, we called the hotel two times. The first time they told us that they will check and that they would have called back. Nobody called, so I called again and the answer was :” If I were you I would take a taxi”. At our arrival at the hotel nobody apologized, nobody asked nothing, nobody cared. I am really upset by this treatment, totally unacceptable from a 4 star hotel. (Furthermore, as an all accor members we were supposed to have a welcome drink that we never received…)

Our visit to the fabolous city of Viena was great, first of all because this city is probably one of the most beautiful places in Europe and around the world to be visited for all what it offers, either culture, art, architecture, history & enjoying all the events programmed. Very disappointing

Having spent 63 nights at Accor properties in 2024, I typically book with confidence knowing that I will have a clean, comfortable room. I made this reservation 11 months earlier in mid-February of 2024, hoping to secure a quiet room. Upon arrival, when we got our "upgraded" room, we found that the hotel has no place to put clothes (no dresser, no shelves, aside from the few hangers and the high closet shelf next to the safe). Four days living out of our suitcases. The requested hangers never arrived. But the real problem lay ahead: this initial room (528) made us feel like we were in a construction zone. We thought the hammering and loud pounding noise would stop and, after three hours of the constant noise (every few seconds), we went to the front desk to ask if they could find us a quiet room. The front desk supervisor came up to investigate and agreed that the noise was simply intolerable. He said that the hotel was full and they only had one room (#233). I quickly investigated the room and it was quiet. What I didn't know is that it was over the staff lounge where the constant smoke prevented us from opening the window, and next to the noisy housekeeping service room. The furniture is old and uncomfortable and the housekeeping is appalling, where the bed covers were simply tossed back on the bed and towels not replaced. I had to request that the room be serviced and repeatedly requested service that didn’t materialize. I requested face cloths and received kleenex. I repeatedly requested cream for the coffee and on one occasion received hand lotion. The front desk staff seem to really care, but this tired hotel desperately needs attention and the housekeeping department needs attention. I felt completely unappreciated and unvalued as a loyal, diamond Accor member. Sadly, for the first time at an Accor property, I cannot recommend this hotel.

My friend and I stayed for 3 nights in room 121 on a B&B basis. I booked this hotel on Reading previous reviews and the ones which had said it was in a good location and I couldn’t agree more! My friend and I walked to and from the main train station on arrival and departure which was super easy and only a 10 minute walk away. Our room was on the first floor at the side of the hotel where the taxis park so if you do need a taxi there are always some parked up. The room was a twin, adequate in size for our 3 night stay and clean. I also loved that the room had a window that opened so we could have some fresh air. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. The best bit about the hotel was their breakfast. This is generally where the standard ls drop in a hotel but not here it was absolutely excellent with lots of choice and fresh! This really set us up for our sightseeing each day.
