Comfortable room and good food. This hotel provided a good base from which to explore this beautiful city on foot. Free, secure parking was available.

Clean Hotel with friendly staff. Private car park was a bonus. Great location with City centre and other attractions easily reached on foot .

We stayed 3 nights with our dogs. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and made both us and the dogs welcome. The food was very good. Breakfasts were varied and evening meal was good but not an expansive menu so we only ate at the hotel one evening during our stay. Will definitely use this hotel next time we stay in La Rochelle.

Walking distance from the centre, great breakfast, good size bedroom, very clean.

I really enjoyed my stay, room was lovely, bed comfy. A bit disappointed the dinner menu was the same for both days we were there.

Nice bar/restaurant area however the room was smaller than expected and view on a carpark which wasn’t the most beautiful exeperience. We booked this hotel for the kids as there was a pool. The pool was filled with green water and it was closed.We were told that it wasn’t the season for the pool … Staff was nice and hotel was well located.

Very nice welcome by the staff. Good value for the room with half-board package offered in this off-season. Convenient car-park at the hotel. Walking distance to La Rochelle city center. Excellent breakfast. Dinner is fine as well for a two nights stay.

I am a regular customer of Novotel at La Rochelle. I think the value for money is excellent: good location, comfy bed, and standard room confort at an affordable price. The staff is very friendly, and goes the extra mile to make me feel at home.

Nice hotel, unfortunately marred by the ambience. Staff on reception were friendly but other staff markedly not so, and not very helpful. I was very disappointed with this hotel because of the atmosphere. It didn't seem like the staff were very happy or else they were just curt to customers.

The hotel was very nicely designed making it an attractive place to hang out. The rooms were comfortable, well-maintained and had everything you needed. The staff were friendly, attentive and always eager to help.

We have just returned from an enjoyable 6 days at La Rochelle and staying at the Novotel was the perfect choice. The staff were so welcoming and made sure you were happy and cared for. The hotel is perfectly located by a park offering a 20 minute walk to the harbour. Super room, great breakfast choices and we had dinner 3 times in the restaurant. Very enjoyable. Swimming pool and large car park. We will be back.

One of the better Novotel-hotels I have stayed at with the family. Only a small disappointment when my chicken brochette arrived black-burned at dinner. I received another brochette after complaining, but no apologies from the staff.

Great location, 7 min walk into La Rochelle. Stayed in a superior room, super comfy bed, nicely styled and excellent cleanliness. Great breakfast., but you mustn’t be late! Breakfast finishes at 9.30am
