Frankly, you are better off staying in a Airbnb in the same area. Services are poor. We had to lug our luggage to the room from the car (group included senior citizens), one room had no running hot water for last 2 days. Getting another room for a shower before we headed to the airport was not a pleasant experience. On the way back we we asked specifically the night before if we will get porters to help with bags in the morning. Answer was no. In the morning, lo and behold, there was someone. We had to push for help on this. We were all quite upset by that time. Left with a funny feeling - would this happened if we were not Indians. Overall, choose an Airbnb in the area if possible. The location is good.

My granddaughter and I met in Paris for a long weekend and completely enjoyed our stay at Novotel Paris Les Halles. Its location is perfect -- steps away from a Metro stop for easy access from the airports and easy walking distance to the Louvre, Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, and other treats. The reception staff was friendly and efficient, especially with accomodating our arrival and departure times. The rooms were charming and tres comfy, and the neighborhood full of charming cafes if we wanted to branch out from the hotel for meals. Tres bien all around.

Great position, clean but small rooms for three

Stayed here for three nights with my wife and daughter over February half term. Hotel is well situated next to the Les Halles train station which has very easy links to the whole of the Metro system across Paris. The room itself was quite small given we had booked this for three people. My daughter had a separate rollup bed which was placed in between the double bed and the window. This meant that there was not much space to move around the room at all. The room was generally clean with a decent bathroom shower sink and toilet although again this was on the small side. Our main gripe with the room was the air-conditioning/heating which was way too hot and couldn’t be adjusted. We had two engineers to the room at different times, the second engineer managed to get it to a reasonable temperature, but it was still too hot. As regards the rest of the hotel, the service at the reception desk was poor in respect that we had explained the air conditioning issue to one of the receptionists who was going to fix the matter whilst we were out. Unfortunately, he went off duty, and we had to explain the whole position again later in the day. There was quite a wide choice at breakfast, although we experienced queues during the busy February half term week when we came down to be seated at around 9:30 am. The restaurant itself was quite cold, which matched the atmosphere in the bar which was in a large soulless open space. Overall, the hotel was satisfactory, just, based on its location, hygiene and food quality.

Great Stay In The Heart Of Paris

Even for a hotel chain, the standards here are amazing. The rooms are spotless and spacious. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the location is second to none located directly across from Chatelet station. Notre Dame is only a five minute walk and the Louvre can be found with a very short ride on the M1 Metro. I will not be staying anywhere else when I come back to Paris.
