Being directly opposite Cologne Cathedral does mean that its bells are part of the atmosphere in this very special location, although we completely understand that an early morning wake-up call from them may not be everyone’s preference. Our rooms follow the ibis concept, focusing on a simple, functional and compact design. This is also why amenities such as a kettle or coffee machine are not part of the standard room equipment. We understand, however, that you would have appreciated these additional comforts and that the shower felt rather limited in space. Thank you for your positive rating and your honest comments. Wat fijn om te lezen dat u zo tevreden was over onze unieke ligging, direct naast het Centraal Station van Keulen en de Dom. Ook doet het ons plezier dat u uw kamer, ons ontbijt en het eenvoudige boekingsproces via de ALL Accor-app positief heeft ervaren. Het spijt ons echter dat het koffieapparaat tijdens het ontbijt op een van de ochtenden tijdelijk buiten gebruik was. De afvalbak van de machine was op dat moment vol, waardoor deze automatisch stopte. Wij begrijpen dat dit vervelend was en bieden hiervoor onze excuses aan. We zullen erop letten dit in de toekomst sneller op te lossen. Nogmaals bedankt voor uw vriendelijke beoordeling en uw waardevolle feedback. We understand how uncomfortable it is when the air conditioning does not provide the expected cooling, especially when this leads to having to open the window and being disturbed by outside noise. Please note that depending on the season, our system operates either in heating or cooling mode, which can limit individual regulation in the rooms. In addition, your comment regarding the curtains being opened by housekeeping is very helpful, and we will address this internally.
