Our rooms follow the ibis concept, which focuses on a simple, functional and compact design. Nevertheless, we completely understand that particularly the bathroom can feel quite limited in space and that this may affect the comfort of some guests. Dear Zoe, thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback with us. We’re delighted that you appreciated our unique location and, despite being right at Cologne Central Station, were able to enjoy a peaceful room thanks to the sound insulation. Your kind words about the cleanliness and our friendly team are also greatly appreciated. Being directly opposite Cologne Cathedral does mean that its bells are part of the atmosphere in this very special location, although we completely understand that an early morning wake-up call from them may not be everyone’s preference. Our rooms follow the ibis concept, focusing on a simple, functional and compact design. This is also why amenities such as a kettle or coffee machine are not part of the standard room equipment. We understand, however, that you would have appreciated these additional comforts and that the shower felt rather limited in space. Thank you for your positive rating and your honest comments.
