Too expensive for such poor service

192 euros for such hotel...? I won't use them again - the room was really small...but ok, I can live with that - the shower had black stain in the angles... but what makes me frustrated is to be charged for a breakfast that I can't access. Really asked... 5.00 am Would a lunch box be possible ? - you can pick what you want and the staff will pack it for you as this is the time they start preparing for breakfast. Indeed it was not possible and nothing was on-going at that time.

What we loved about the hotel - huge and comfortable bed - very close to the train station - the friendliest receptionist staff - bike storage in their garage for our bikes (make sure to take your bike lock) - basic toiletries in the bathroom - powerful and very hot shower - you could open the windows fully to air the room - ambience of the common areas and bar downstairs Things to be mindful of - this is a budget hotel, hence the price, but it is a great hotel and is in a great location

We spent two nights at this hotel. What did we like about the hotel? _ Easy walking distance (10 minutes) from the main railway station. - Bus stop two minutes walk away. Local buses are easy to use. - Good restaurant attached to the hotel. The food was good and reasonably priced. - Good buffet breakfast. - Bar in the hotel. Reasonably priced. - Close to plenty of restaurants and bars. - Staff are pretty good - young and friendly. What we didn't really like? - Our room was very small and basic, no frills. We chose this hotel because of its closeness to the railway station and because, compared to other hotels in the area, it was reasonably priced.

I stayed in IBIS properties in Tahiti, Baku, Belfast, and Paris. All excellent properties with sparkling clean bathrooms, comfortable beds and pillows, and hot water available for us tea and coffee drinkers. But this one is a disappointment. Mold in the bathroom, towels that are threadbare and scratchy, as are the pillows and linens. Dusty old drapes. Noisy, able to hear neighbor belch. I suggest finding another hotel. IBIS let down us fans on this one.

Our hotel is currently under renovation in the common areas of the floors, and we should resort to the aging of our rooms with work planned by 2025. We have been working with the same company for a very long time on our room linen, and are very happy about it. The linen comes from their office and is also washed on their side. We are sorry if it didn't suit you, but it's true that this company serves all hotels in Lyon. Our goal being to bring you complete satisfaction, I see that we have failed this time and I'm sincerely sorry.
