I never authorised the use of my CC for payment of room charge. You had a company cost code on file so why not use it? If unsure, why not follow up with the travel agent to confirm payment method. I even verified this with the lady at reception upon check-in that company payment method was in place and that I would not be paying directly upon check-in out. Reception agreed. Further, why the price gouge of $225 on my CC when our agreed company rate is $160, which is also your current advertised rate! Am am now likely going to have to explain to my company HR why my expense claim for accomidation greater than authorised

Rooms are too small and air conditioner was not working properly, it was too hot, could not sleep. Complained about the air cond, they said someone fixed it but was the same.

Couldn’t really relax by the pool with the amount of children using toys loudly, and not enough chairs or lounges which were always “reserved” by people leaving stuff on them and not using them.

The Novotel Cairns is centrally located, within a 5-15 min walk to everything you will need. The rooms are good sized, bathrooms are good, pool is great and staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
