Excellent stay / amenities / pool area so well set up for kids and the staff were wonderful. This felt like a 5 stay experience. Juan and Elkie were fabulous with the kids and the school activities were brilliant. Lovely to have some healthy options on the menu.

Our first time in Cairns! Wonderful Accor property. We arrived early and left our luggage at reception to take advantage of the pool. Towels are provided only with towel tokens (reception will give them to you on check in) The room (deluxe pool side) is welcoming, individual air conditioning (not ducted) modern and clean. Bed comfortable and shower pressure great. Good amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion) Mini bar is bare minimum, tea and coffee provided. USB ports on each side of bed. As it was school holidays on a long weekend, it was very busy. Reception was very slow, I think due to their systems. I also don't recom purchasing the inflatable for the pool (3 days = $60 and no room to float) We did wish they acknowledged our anniversary (8 years) I wish they had more sun loungers at the pool, people would claim them and not be seen for hours Breakfast buffet was brilliant with a huge selection + free barista coffee for Accor members. Cocktails and food are top notch at Moku. Dylan from PEI was a wonderful human to all guests! We highly recommend Novotel Cairns

Spent 5 nights here and had a great time. Rooms was abit small but we were out most of the day anyway so didn't bother us. The pool was great, spent most of the day down there and they had heaps of things on for the kids for the school holidays. Breakfast was amazing. Great variety of food. Room service available. Staff were very friendly. Melanie at breakfast was lovely. Great location.

Internet was unusable- had to hotspot off my phone to work. Apparently it was upgraded two weeks ago and now better. Their chrome cast did not work. Rooms have been renovated. Tiny bathroom - no bath. Not enough sun lounges by the pool. Pool to cold and full of young kids. Our kids were between ages of 11-15 and it was too young for them. Food / drinks expensive - but that was all over cairns. Wouldn’t stay here again. Expensive for what it was.

Great family friendly resort. Pool and activities for the kids unmatched. Just dont expect 5 star food or accomodation. Service and house keeping average. For the family life made easy at this resort. Close to everything. We will be back oneday.
