Good business hotel

I stayed two evenings for a business trip. The hotel is modern, comfortable, large, and can be crowded with tourists and business people. Its near the RAI station for a ten minute walk to the rail way station that can get you easily by metro or train to the airport and centraal station/downtown Amsterdam. The room was good, quite, good environmental controls including windows that opened, an empty mini bar and Nespresso machine. The bed was good, the sheets pillows were average, but adequate. Bathroom was good as well, small sink but great shower. I used the gym which was a bit better than I expected but could get crowded, ample cardio equipment and some dumbells and weight machines. There is a sauna which I didnt use. Breakfast was very good. I ate twice at the restaurant for dinner as there is not much nearby unfortunately. The food was good, service was ok but could be crusty, prices were what a hotel would charge 20+ euros for an entry. There is also a big bar. The hotel has a decent store with takeaway snacks and drinks and mini market plus a nice store for souvenirs and convenience item. While service at the restaurant was so-so, the hotel really was a step above in trying to help me find an uncommon dutch liquor i wanted to bring back home for a gift. Samuel at the front desk was great and found me a place to get it just before I had to pack up and return home. The stuff was hard to find and not sold at the airport.

Good hotel

Short one night stay but pleasant, nicely located so a short train ride to airport and not too far from center. Nice lobby bar with good beer. We had mid floor but big room with a decent bed. Nice stay at a good price.

Terrific and close to airport

Selected this hotel when my flight was canceled and needed a room last minute. Very clean, beautiful hotel. Was able to purchase adapter and a few other essentials since my luggage was checked in at airport. Especially impressed with staff. The breakfast hostess was so personable and answered all my questions. While I had hoped to be home, the stay was great!

Rude waitress

Not impressed with waitress in restaurant in the morning. Reception staff instructed us to get teabags from there but we were met by a rude waitress who treated us like dirt.

Enjoyed our stay

Just returned today from a 3 night stay for the nearby Dutch Grand Prix. 10 minute walk to RAI station, which takes you to the airport (10ish mins), or up to Centraal (20 ish mins), so good transport links nearby. The bed was so comfy, and we liked the wee fridge, which got re-stocked with water daily. The tv has bbc 1 &2, itv, channel 4, e4, and channel 5 for fellow English speakers. The only complaint we would have, and it's a small one, is the tv kept turning itself off!
