Bar staff on Monday not customer friendly

The lady bar staff on Monday night was not very friendly. She made us feel like we were a burden. No smile and no thanks . Also the donuts must have been there for a week as they were rock hard and disgusting we didn’t complain as she was rude to us

The hotel seemed in good repair and generally clean but when it came to the rooms it was a disappointment. We booked two rooms and both had the same issues, the carpets had stains on (looked like blood) the shower tray was black unsure if that was dirt or something that couldn’t be removed. The room did not include any basic items like kettle and tea, not even a glass for water. The breakfast did not include any cooked food making the price of €17 per person quite unreasonable. We have stayed in other ibis hotel branches and we chose an ibis based on previous pleasant experience however on this occasion what was offered was not value for money or met any basic expectations.

First time visit to Germany, hotel easy to find, 10 minute walk from Alexander Platz , greeted warmly by the receptionist who spoke very good English, no communication barrier at all during our stay. Room was very modern and spotlessly clean, comfortable bed too! Overall a pleasant stay and would probably return
