Staff were kind and helpful. The hotel common areas are beautiful. The room was small and overpriced. The "luxury deluxe" room was just a standard room. It had a big closet, which isn't a key feature we were hoping for. There was no seating beyond an office chair and a bench. The bathroom was as small as possible to contain a toilet, sink, and bathtub. Overall the room was fine, save for limited and uncomfortable seating, but certainly not worth the price we paid. We paid $500/night on a $150/night quality room. The Chromecast didn't work, so there were no streaming options. They offered a free PPV movie which was kind. However, the movie options weren't great. We ended up watching a movie that we own and also have available on one of our streaming services.

Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel room was clean and surpassed expectations. Dinner at restaurant was fantastic. Waiter went above and beyond. The overall atmosphere felt like we were on a mini vacation.

Stay was nice, staff very friendly and professional as always the case at a Fairmont. Surprized at some of the finishes in the room. Trim around closet not well done, closet light never turned off. cabinet the tv was on was aged and doors didn't close well or stay open. Would be better to take the doors off except the light from the fridge would have to be dealt with, the blue fridge light was visible as it was with cabinet not closing tightly. I know rooms at these old CP hotels can be small, I've stayed at many over the years and know to expect that but it was too tight between bed and cabinet. Bed was great but pillows not great. I can have neck issues and I had a terrible sleep first night and had to bring my special pillow in from car the second night. Tiny bathroom but I thought it was done very well and made good use of space while still providing a decent size shower.

The service is fantastic and fast! Very responsive on a few minor issues. Our suite was lovely. It was really cold out so we spent. A lot of time just hanging out. So relaxing.

Firstly, I don't mind my review being published on your platforms. I arrived early on Friday (28th) - after 12:00 pm. My partner arrived around 1:00 pm. I checked in at the front desk - picked up the keys - went to the room - realized it wasn't the special-requested room that I asked for. Because I had time, I went back to the front desk - explained my situation - your front desk associate was very understanding - went away - developed 2 options - I took the better one - but the room wasn't ready yet. My partner arrived - we went to the clock tower bar - drinks and eats - then checked back in at the front desk. Long story - short. We eventually got the preferred room - 4175 - around 4:10 pm. - had a lovely dinner at Reign - which RYH paid for. This is a long story - but a good one. The rest of our time at RYH was exceptional - food at Reign - dinner and 2 breakfasts - was outstanding. Special thanks to all 4 staff at the front desk - and the Reign wait staff - very much appreciated. This was a special week-end for my partner and me. Thank-you.
