Had a Lakeview Villa, 1 day after our stay on special $200 cheaper Room was tired, furniture very weathered with timber tops cracking. Deck had rotten board, with bird poo on the glass Had Wagyu for dinner, ordered medium came medium rare was tough and stringy. Did not taste like waygu I have had in the past, quite disappointing

Disappointing stay for a 5-star hotel and for the service without smile and kindness The resort itself is beautiful, but our experience was very disappointing. The room was outdated, the staff often unfriendly, and we were never escorted to our table. We were not informed about the special Christmas lunch on the 25th, nor that the 25th and 26th were public holidays and that nothing would be open. We even had to eat a club sandwich at a gas station on Christmas Day, which is unbelievable for a 5-star hotel. The noise from children in the adjacent villas early in the morning was not mentioned. Only a few staff members, like a young man at reception and Suzanne, were friendly. For the price paid, the service and facilities are not up to standard. Not recommended.

Dear Paris Thank you again for sharing your feedback. We’re truly sorry that aspects of your stay didn’t meet your expectations and that you weren’t able to enjoy Christmas lunch with us. We did communicate to all guests in advance about the Christmas Day luncheon, and some tables were available for our in-house guests. In-room dining was also operating, and a menu was available at the pool bar—our apologies if this information was missed. On Boxing Day, all resort areas were open with no restrictions, and we’re sorry for any confusion. We really appreciate your kind words about our resort’s beauty and the staff who made a positive impression, such as Suzanne and the young gentleman at reception. We’re also excited to share that a refurbishment of our villas is planned later this year to enhance comfort and the overall guest experience. Kind regards, Raelene

Based on the price point I wanted to feel a clear step up from much lower priced accomodation options and it simply isn't there. Barista coffee not included in the breakfast feels cheap. Pool was crowded (huge pool but limited deck area). Also access in/out pool via ladder isn't suitable for elderlies. Only one EV charger for the entire resort.... come on... ridiculous, it ended up being a constant stress to get to the charger.... Booking system for the EV charger simply doesn't work (requires manual confirmation from staff). No signage inside the resort, I get what you tried to achieve doing that but outcome is guests (think of the elderlies) get lost and waste energy (in 35 degrees heat and covered in flies) trying to get to pool/beach whatever because some moron in an office though it would make it feel like a "village" if there was no signs.... nop!

Our room rates operate on a dynamic pricing system, particularly during peak summer periods, which reflects seasonal demand across the region. We understand your expectation of a clear step up in experience and regret that this was not how your stay felt. Your feedback on barista-made coffee is well received but we regret to let you know that it is not included in the breakfast package. However, we do provide complimentary coffee from the machine as an alternative. We are sorry to hear you experience with the EV charger, as the charging station is provided complimentary for guest use, intended as a convenient option for those who are not planning to travel elsewhere during their stay. The manual booking confirmation process allows us to closely monitor usage and ensure fair access for all guests. We do understand, however, that this may have caused frustration. But, for guests requiring urgent or guaranteed access, we recommend the EV Superfast Charger located at Dunsborough Centrepoint, approximately 10 minutes from the resort. I’m also sorry for the inconvenience you experienced when navigating the resort. We appreciate that this can be challenging, particularly in warmer weather. For this reason, all guests are provided with a resort map, and our team explains the layout and key facilities during check-in. Nonetheless, your feedback highlights that we can do better in this area. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts.
