Disappointing Issues Dampen the Beauty of Pullman Bunker Bay

Our recent stay at Pullman Bunker Bay had both its charms and challenges. Booking an extra night was cumbersome, with issues in coordinating the booking. Upon arrival, the property’s idyllic setting was somewhat marred by the extremely dirty state of the chairs in the restaurant. They were soiled and in desperate need of attention, which was disappointing for a high-end 4 star resort. The experience at the resort’s "Other Side of the Moon" restaurant was even more underwhelming. After enjoying our mains, we were completely ignored by the waitstaff. Despite waiting patiently for some time, no one came by to offer dessert. I eventually had to get up and approach the restaurant’s reception to request the dessert menu and order some…but it never came until I went back to the reception desk again to check on it. The service felt inattentive, and it seemed that some staff were either overwhelmed or simply disinterested. While the location and views are undeniably beautiful, the overall experience was tarnished by these lapses in service detail and cleanliness. With better attention to detail, especially in customer care and cleaning, Pullman Bunker Bay could deliver the luxurious experience it promises. Unfortunately this was an underwhelming experience.

One of the best locations in W.A. The manager Suzan was obliging, engaging. However, our experience was at breakfast was disappointing. Plates in the plate warmers were cold most of the hot food in the bain-marie was cold both mornings of our stay. The dinner meals were a real disappointment. The food preparation and presentation was second rate. You have a real problem with the kitchen and the staff came across as untrained.
