Our Basalt Restaurant & Bar is open for dinner 5 nights per week, Tuesday to Saturday from 5.30pm, with last orders by 8.30pm The seasonally changing menu includes the finest local produce from the South West and our attentive service is second to none.

Our room didn't have fresh towels, toilet paper and had a musky mold smell about it. Wasn't able to change as was fully booked. Housekeeping gave us spray to use for the weekend. Paid for Buffet Breakfast for both mornings of our stay, was only given continental due to no staff. We won't be coming back as felt the money paid for the room and buffet breakfast was to expensive for what we got. To not even get offered a refund for Breakfast, or a incentive to return was disappointing.

Could not find my confirmed booking, wifi did not work properly, calls to front desk went unanswered. Could hear TVs from other rooms. Only positive was the location.

Walls were not soundproof so was kept awake by neighbours. Told waitress there was sand in my meal and no compensation.
