Our Basalt Restaurant & Bar is open for dinner 5 nights per week, Tuesday to Saturday from 5.30pm, with last orders by 8.30pm The seasonally changing menu includes the finest local produce from the South West and our attentive service is second to none.

Stay was pleasant but carpet is filthy and bathroom needed a good clean. Breakfast was a good buffet.

However, I am very sorry to learn that the cleanliness of your room, particularly the carpet and bathroom, did not meet expectations. We will be addressing this with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure improvements are made, including reviewing the condition of carpets and overall room presentation. not what we expected. Pictures are deceiving on line, needs a good reno with the rooms and the bathrooms,

Easy check in, complete with restaurant, pool, spa and sauna. Walking distance to everything in town, and right on the beach we really enjoyed our stay.

Being a Platinum member, was not recognized by this hotel , from the start , not a great welcome, no smiles from the lady behind the counter , had to wait 20 minutes for my room to be ready , we arrived on a Friday at 1.30pm, finally got to our room , nice view , the bed was the worst I have ever slept in , My wife and I could feel every bed spring , when you hop off the bed the springs would pop, the bed should be replaced it is not useable and we both are still suffering from sore backs now , the best thing that we both enjoyed was the breakfast and the staff there were very pleasant and welcoming, I would not stay here again, this would be the worst review I have ever done. Thanks
