Our Basalt Restaurant & Bar is open for dinner 5 nights per week, Tuesday to Saturday from 5.30pm, with last orders by 8.30pm The seasonally changing menu includes the finest local produce from the South West and our attentive service is second to none.

The staff at Mantra Bunbury made our Anniversary very special. They went over and above to make it one we'll never forget. Upon arrival the room was set up with towels made into swans forming a love heart in the middle with a bottle of wine. We had an amazing view of Geographe Bay, the Basalt rocks and the sunsets were glorious. Thank you to Matt and all the wonderful staff that made it such a special weekend for us.

We arrived to aircon not working, and although a portable aircon and fans were provided this wasn’t even mentioned at checkin. The carpet was terribly stained and bathroom not very clean. Towels didn’t even match. I’m sure one towel was at least 10years old. After a terrible night sleep with the noise of the aircon or fan, I asked to change rooms. There was only a downgrade available and in the end we decided not to bother as we were out all day. When we returned at 7pm our room hadn’t even been cleaned. Absolute disgrace. Not sure what we are paying for at this point? I called reception and they did bring towels that I requested but this was just the icing on the cake. It is not worth a penny and I would certainly not stay again.
