My wife has Celiac disease. This was noted on our reservation. It was discussed upon check in. We were assured no problem meeting the Gluten Free needs. We tried to eat at the restaurant. Service was exceptionally slow. We were told we could have multiple dishes on the menu. We ordered. About 15 mins later the waitress came back and said the dishes could not be made GF because they were premade and could not be altered. If true, why did she tell us they could be. Why such a long delay. We altered our food order. Another 15-20 minutes and a different waitress brought a dish with what looked like a fried cracker type thing on top. I asked “Is that GF” to which she responded “I really don’t know”. I asked her to check. She returned after about 10 mins and said no. We asked about the bucket of prawns we’d ordered about 35-40 minutes earlier and she said she’d check on it. In the meantime, the manager came over to apologize. He offered some drinks. The kitchen was supposed to be making something GF for my wife. We asked the manager about the shrimp and he answered “Didn’t you get them ?” There was no evidence of eaten prawns anywhere on the table. The manager returned about 10 mins later with the prawns and told us the dish that was being made for my rice could not be made GF. By this time, we’d been in the restaurant about an hour+ and had no food. My wife was starving and the only thing they brought to the table had gluten in it. She didn’t feel safe so we left. We stopped at the front desk for towels and they asked how we were doing. We mentioned the restaurant issue. The night manager was visibly upset and told us she’d take care of it. She took the food costs off the bill and said someone would be checking with us. Thank you for taking the food off the bill. We were never contacted. We did not eat anything take at the resort. We did not want to risk getting my swine sick. We ran into some other vacationers at a restaurant. They asked where we were staying and we told them. They said “Great resort but don’t eat in the restaurant.” We ate at a little breakfast place serving tons of people every morning. Packed when we were there. They knew exactly what Celiac was, how to maintain GF, and know serious it was. The food was great and not a crumb of gluten. The front desk staff was phenomenal. I believe Gina checked us in and interacted with us multiple times. Very good. So was night manager. Sorry I can’t remember her name. The restaurant was a disaster. Another issue that was odd was seeing trays and empty plates and cups outside doors. Also linen bags waiting for pickup. This seemed odd with all the potential animal issues. We will not likely stay there again and will not likely recommend to anyone we know traveling up the area. Sorry. We had really high hopes and they were not met.

Travelling very far from Sydney and mid north coast of Nsw and after months of excitedly waiting for this holiday to arrive myself and 3 friends were very disappointed in the Pullman experience. Greeted at reception after 5pm by the time we arrived, we received a hurried welcome, fast explanation of the hotel map with a few things highlighted, holding deposit charged and keys issued. The parking is hit and miss with no set space allocation per room. My friends were allocated room 131 and it was dirty and shabby and inhabitable. They had to stay first night till someone checked out, moving to room 128 which was much better but what a terrible start. Gina and Sophia from Reception came with rubber gloves and cleaning products to remove hair from the shower and dust from furnishings. One bed had a dirty Donna with blood stains on the mattress protector. This took a few days for my friends to get over even with a hotel credit of just $300 issued. A full cash refund for night 1 should have been issued. Restaurant staff seemed to all be travellers with varying degrees of English and customer service skill. The buffet breakfast (being all that is offered) at a cost of $42 was disappointing with an atmosphere of chaos and clatter. Getting a coffee order right was challenging at times. Lunch and dinner experiences were better but dinner menu and wine per glass over priced. The large lagoon pool needed daily salt and treatment service and during our 1 week stay there was plumbers servicing pool water features and generally alot of maintenance activity. Same friends who had the terrible room experience also had a staff member enter their room without knocking to deliver pillow cases not requested. This gave an uneasy feeling so from then we locked our front doors. This hotel stay was very over priced for what we experienced and we would not stay again or recommend anyone to book without having photos of actual rooms allocated before any $ paid. This was a 2 to 2.5 star 🌟 experience for us. The current facility and service standards are not reflecting 5 star as advertised.

Resort was nice but room was pretty basic & not what was shown in photos at time of booking. I raised this with reception but nothing was done. It felt a little disappointing considering how much we paid for the room. I feel you should at least get what you see in the photos…

Can not fault our stay at the Pullman for our babymoon. We were well taken care of, thoughtful touches including a room upgrade. Amenities like the pool were excellent - the lazy river part is such a great part. Really made for a wonderful holiday and celebration.
